A must-visit scenic view on a sunny day in Kodiak. Drive to the top on a gravel road, then walk around or bike down the ridge line. It’s not accessible in winter, and it’s clouded over in bad weather, but on a sunny day, there’s no better free stop in Kodiak.

Cold(20°F feels like 3°F) and windy(30+ MPH/50 KPH) with deep snow drifts when I hiked up. Beautiful views. Google won't let me post the video so you will have to go see for yourself.

We had great views of the town of Kodiak evacuating from our vantage point at the Wind Turbines because of an earthquake inspired Tsunami warning last night!

It is truly a magnificent view from up there, if you're here on Kodiak, drive up and have a look, it's absolutely beautiful.
