From start to finish this was an amazing experience!
My three boys and I could not get enough. We wanted to go for the fishing which was outstanding. The boats were spacious and the captains were great. We didn’t know what to expect from the rest of the package such as lodging food comfort etc. but they organized our flight from Kodiak to the lodge and back, served the most delicious food, great fishing and appetizers during happy hour along with a comfortable lodge to hang out in.
Rick and Kelly along with the rest of the staff were extremely accommodating. If you like to fish at off the beaten path places you will love the comfort and adventure of the Kodiak Sportsman’s Lodge.
They far exceeded our expectations.

This was our first trip to the lodge. We had a great time! The lodge was very comfortable. Kelley and Rick made us feel right at home and very comfortable. Jeanie's is an amazing chef, the food was absolutely fantastic. Out on the water, Kaden took great care of us and kept up on fish for the majority of the day. The weather was surprisingly amazing, mostly sunny, temps in the 60's and very little wind. I would highly recommend this lodge.

We just had the most amazing experience at Kodiak sportsman’s lodge. We had the entire lodge to ourselves including the fishing boat for 3 full days of amazing fishing and scenery. Gary and Jeanne were amazing hosts. We caught so many awesome fish and to top it off the meals were 5 star! We loved every bite. Jeanne is an amazing chef, we were always so excited for dinner every night. We are already planning our next trip there!

Booked this trip 1.5 years in advance with the hopes of crossing the Sitka Blacktail off my list. And the hunt did not disappoint in the least. My hunting partner and I hunted with the owner Gary every day, he really knows his business. We may have gotten a little spoiled because we had great weather the whole trip. But I would definitely do this trip again. Rick was a great host and Chloe did an awesome job with all of our meals.

The lodge and staff are amazing! It was everything we dreamed of and more. Caught lots of fish and the food was fabulous! We felt so at home but without all of the work. All we had to do was get dressed, eat a hot breakfast, fish and eat lunches on the boat. Charter captain, Nikki, put us on all types of fish and gave us great advice to make this an experience of a lifetime. We saw all kinds of wildlife: bear, whales, sheep, seals, & deer. Beautiful scenery of mountains and ocean. Highly recommend this to anyone!!

Gary hosted our party of five serious duck hunters with great hospitality and success. We hunted duck and deer with maximum fun and success everyday. Everything was as advertised and every piece of equipment from boats to lodge to cleaning area was setup worked perfectly. Food was outstanding. Get on the boat before sunrise. Then hunt or fish whatever you want to do all day. On top that you have true "National Geographic" moments everyday - wales, otters, bears digging their den for winter, and counting mountain goats way up on the mountain. Gary and his team provided everything once we landed. All five of our first trip to Alaska and we picked the right place at Kodiak Sportsman's Lodge

The Lodge "Hooked Us Up"! ||Even the pilot that flew us to Old Harbor from Kodiak City was a Record Holder (Mason youngest pilot to fly around the world!)||3X daily meals were very "Kodiak" (fish and game like you see on island) and very good! Chef prepared||Traveling light is OK they provided us weather gear,wash machines and etc!||Lots of good people here , our young second generation USCG Captain .Caden, grew up here even his Uncle is a local fisherman.He's good and you will catch fish!||The Fish were close, fun to catch and great to eat (lodge prepared frozen boxes of our fish fillets for travel) .||An Awesome Adventure for all ages!||Capt.
