Had a pleasure renting from Key West Moped! I was getting married in Key West and thought a Pearl White moped would be the best “getaway car” for our celebration. Outside of that, we enjoyed cruising around the town easily with the moped, free parking in designated areas day to day and easily getting from one end of the island at Mallory Square to the south side of Higgs Beach. Definitely beats driving a car around and dealing with parking costs. Better yet, Richard had pick-up available at the end of my rental term which made things easier than personally driving it back. Will be renting from them again when I am back, hopefully sooner rather than later! Thanks!

Rented as Moped for the day. Fantastic people and beyond happy with our experience. The best way to get around Key West. Plus the best way to stop and walk around the different spots. More than enough spots to park and for mopeds all free parking. Highly recommend Key West Moped!!!! Thank you making our day that much better!!!

Best experience ever! Communicated well! Dropped off our mopeds at our hotel for us. The mopeds are very nice and not covered in marketing material. We had a problem with on of them not starting. We left if where it was and he delivered a new one within the hour to the location we were at. We barely noticed we were down one scooter. THIS is the way to get around Key West and this is the place to rent from.

It depends on who you talk to on the phone you can get different answers from their techs. One day my scooter broke down I told them I was only going to be in town for a few more days and they said okay leave your scooter bring us the keys and we'll rent you a loaner for $25 a day.

I was able to get my scooter started so I didn't have to leave it for them to come and pick up. After doing some research on the problem with my personal scooter. I called to ask about getting the fuel pump replaced.. I was promptly cussed out for asking them to repair my scooter that day I guess the whole conversation I'd had with this person earlier went in one ear and out the other. If they weren't going to be able to fix my scooter or start working on it that day when were they going to be able to get to it?

I was only going to be in the keys another 3 days if they weren't going to be able to work on it immediately I wasn't going to take my scooter home in pieces or leave it and come back for it.

This is another one of those businesses that seem to have the ability to turn their phone service off whenever they feel like it I had called them before talk to them one day the next day their phone number was out of service when you called?

I did call a&m scooter rentals... Their service tech wasn't available that day but they were willing to come and pick me up and rent me a scooter for $45 for one day or 70 for 2 days seemed like a reasonable price if I hadn't been able to get my scooter running again this was a viable option to have them come and pick me up and get my scooter later at which point I probably could have left the scooter for them to come and pick up after I was done with my rental.

Flew into KEYW today with my wife and two friends. Richard had the 3 scooters waiting for us, no hassle, returned them to the airport when we were done. Excellent experience. Highly recommend!

Update: March 2025-We used Key West Moped again, and recommended to some friends. Richard was more than helpful and fair with any all dealings I've had with him!

Came down to Key West for vacation and needed a scooter rental last minute and Jess at Key West Moped helped us out with getting a double scooter for a couple of days at a great price and really made us feel at home and treated us like family here on the island, I even lost my debit card while on the island and Jess put me in touch with a local who found it! Great customer service and great people out here in Key West! I wouldn’t go anywhere else but here next time I visit.

Key West Moped was great to deal with, very friendly upon arrival, the cats were friendly too!!! We got our scooters quickly, and with a quick tutorial we were on our way. The scooters were great, no problems with them at all, and they helped us to enjoy the entire island of Key West. When we returned the scooters, again we were greeted quickly, after a quick check of the bikes, we were on our way, couldn't be easier. The shop was conveniently located next to our hotel, so it was a smooth transaction. I recommend Key West Moped for your time in the Old Town, and I will be using them again next time I come down. Thanks for the great experience, you guys Rock!!!
