We had the most incredible experience. From the moment we toured the space, we knew it was the perfect setting for our wedding. The venue itself is breathtaking, with stunning scenery and elegant details that made for the most beautiful backdrop to our special day.

Planning our wedding from a different state was so easy with them. Our wedding planner Ali and staff went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, always attentive and accommodating to our needs. Their professionalism and warmth made the entire planning process stress-free and enjoyable.

Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the atmosphere, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a more magical day. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that combines beauty, excellent service, and a seamless experience, we highly recommend.

We had the most incredible experience at Key Largo Lighthouse for our wedding! From day one, she was an absolute dream to work with — her communication was always clear, quick, and super helpful, which made everything feel so much less overwhelming. Magical Wedding Despite Deceitful Bartending Service

We wish we could give a perfect review, but the bartending service tainted our experience.

The Positives:
Communication (5/5): The Key Largo Lighthouse was highly responsive from the start.
Venue Accuracy (5/5): Coral Beach and the guesthouses were stunning and looked exactly like the photos.
Wedding Advisor & Planner (5/5): Ali was incredible, ensuring a smooth and stress-free process.
Day-of Coordinators (5/5): Chandler and Lauren were attentive, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed.
Kayak Rentals (5/5): Captain KC was accommodating, and we even saw manatees!
Master of Ceremony (5/5): Mike with MBC Entertainment was engaging, hilarious, and helpful.
Photographers & Videographer: The Wedding Travelers and Falcon HD were kind and professional; we look forward to our photos and videos.
Catering (5/5): Key Largo Conch House provided delicious food and excellent service.
Dessert (5/5): Keys Chocolate Factory’s Key Lime Pies were a hit.
Photobooth (5/5): Outrageous Productions stepped in last minute and were great.

The Negatives - Beware of "I Do Bar."
We selected the Expert Couple Bar Package, which cost us $1224. This included mixers, sodas, water, and bartenders. We were still responsible for purchasing the alcohol. We weren’t given a choice of bartenders. We were assigned Charles McGraw, whose email logo said: “I Do Bar.” However, there is no trace of “I Do Bar” on any review sites. To prep, we surveyed our guests to offer a variety of drinks, including a signature margarita, various wines, vodka, rum, cognac, and a virgin piña colada mix. The groom, a former bartender, calculated the alcohol purchase based on standard pours and multiple returns to the bar for 70 people, even comparing amounts with suggested quantities provided by Charles.
On the wedding day, only 57 drinking guests were present. Ben and Charles were the bartenders. At 5pm, at the start of cocktail/photography hour, Chandler brought us margaritas that tasted overwhelmingly of tequila. By 5:45 PM, just 45 minutes into cocktail hour, we were told we were running out of tequila. Shocked and panicked, but still in the middle of photography, we stated that the bartender could order more alcohol. After photos, while my dress was getting bustled, guests reported to the groom that they asked the bartenders about specific alcohol that they knew we purchased and were told that the alcohol was not available because it was “in the back.” The groom checked the bar and found several unopened bottles of liquor and wine in the coolers directly behind the bartenders! This must be the definition of “in the back.”
Later, during dinner, we noticed Ben bringing a tray of cocktails to a table of heavy drinkers. We later learned that guests left tips in a jar at the bar that we were unaware of, despite our already prepaid gratuities. We never saw him bring a tray of cocktails to any other table. It became clear the bartenders were over-pouring for bigger tips. Then, when we learned about the liquor store order, we discovered the bartenders placed a $456 liquor order! Despite us still having plenty of unopened alcohol at the bar. The groom complained to Chandler, who stepped in, canceled $356 of it, and managed the situation.
By night’s end, we still had several unopened bottles of alcohol that we had originally purchased, but yet the piña colada mix mysteriously disappeared. Charles never responded to our inquiry about that. Despite pre-paid gratuities, they over-poured drinks to solicit extra tips, barely used any mixers for flavor, lied to guests about liquor availability, and falsely claimed we were running out of alcohol—all to push an unnecessary liquor order for a likely kickback. We regret this experience and urge future couples to monitor their bartenders carefully. KLLH is an amazing venue. Our wedding was otherwise extremely magical, and our guests had a wonderful time, but I Do Bar by Charles McGraw was a major disappointment.

This venue is so quant peaceful and BEAUTIFUL, a photographers dream. We loved how intimate it was. Being right on the water with gorgeous palm trees, made our job easy!

The Key Largo Lighthouse venue and all of their employees were AMAZING! Everyone was so nice and friendly, and the communication was great! I would recommend this wedding venue to everyone! It’s so beautiful and well kept.
Our wedding planner, Debbie, was the best of the best, and we couldn’t have done it without her!! She made the whole planning process extremely stress-free as my husband and I live in Boston, MA. Anytime we emailed or texted Debbie with questions and concerns while planning, she was very quick to respond. On the day of the wedding, she handled everything perfectly! I only have great things to say about Debbie, as well as the Key Largo Lighthouse!

My wife and I chose KLLH-Hidden Beach to fulfill our dream of having a wedding that felt like a family vacation. They were able to make our dream come true and exceed expectations. We were able to have the majority of our (50) guests stay right on location. We loved that we got the location for a full day after the wedding and could spend the day relaxing with guests who were able to also stay. We loved that they had recommended vendors, as we were traveling from out of town and were not familiar with the vendor options in Key Largo. We also loved that we were able to have the rehearsal/welcome party the evening before at the venue, as it really reduced the stress of trying to find somewhere else to have the night-before activities.

We worked with Lynda (event manager) and Debbie (wedding planner/day-of coordinator) primarily for our wedding. They are not only very professional and timely, but it was also easy to tell that they are very good people. Debbie is incredible at taking away any stresses before and during the wedding and letting you really just enjoy the day. My wife and I both said we wished we could’ve spent more time hanging out with her! We even had the chance to meet Dave (property owner) and Adam and they were incredibly kind and professional. KLLH has a special group of people working at the venue.

As far as vendors go, we worked with Yolanda Hill Photography, Falcon HD Videography, Key Largo Chocolates, Linens and more, and LJ’s Catering. We had an absolutely phenomenal experience with the vendors and wouldn’t think twice about recommending them to others. We also had a great experience with Charlie and Ben, the bartenders. They were very helpful with respect to how much alcohol to purchase for the wedding and Ben was a great bartender during the reception.

Overall, we had a dream experience at KLLH and would recommend it for anyone looking for a beach wedding without hesitation. Thank you to everyone who made our experience as special as it was!

Have you ever been to Key Largo? Well, you should put it on your list. We were attending my friend’s wedding in May. And the wedding was at the Key Largo Lighthouse, Coral Beach. Since we had not been to Key Largo, we were not sure where to stay. But we received a “Celebration Passport.” This was filled with information on travel, hotel, and activities. It was so helpful! And a lot of hotels had discounted rooms for the wedding guests. So, we stayed at the Courtyard Marriott which was a 5-minute Uber ride away.

When we arrived at the Lighthouse, we were blown away. Wow, it was stunning! First of all, is there anything better than a wedding on the beach? To start, there was a Welcome Dinner on Friday. Then the wedding was on Saturday. Lastly a brunch on Sunday. And yes, they were all AMAZING!

The ceremony was BEAUTIFUL! The tent was lit up for 100 guests. And the tables, place settings, and flowers were perfect. Plus, the buffet looked incredible. Now prior to coming, the caterers knew I had food allergies. But this was not a problem at all. In fact, they made me separate meals. Talk about great service. The caterers did a great job.

From a guest point of view, the entire event seemed effortless. If I were a bride, this is the kind of wedding I would want. So, are you looking for stunning views, great food, exceptional service, and beautiful sunsets? Then The Key Largo Lighthouse is the place for you!
