I visited the library, hoping for a quiet place to read and study, but it turned out to be anything but. The noise level was incredibly frustrating, with toddlers running around and screaming, making it impossible to focus. Surprisingly, the loudest people in the library weren’t the kids but the adults who were supposed to be supervising them, and even the librarians. The librarians seemed more interested in chatting with each other or other adults than keeping the noise down, which was really disappointing. This is supposed to be a library—a place for quiet, not a playground or a social hangout. It’s no wonder fewer adults seem to go there anymore. A library should be a sanctuary for reading and studying, not a place where you have to compete with shouting and phone calls.

Air conditioning needs to be REPLACED; the AC repair guy shows up every month- and still the AC is malfunctioning. The only place cold air blows is at the front desk and the activities room. Other than that, you run the risk of getting heat exhaustion. The least that a public library can do is make sure that the AC is working well; they should not be skimping on costs. This is a health issue as well.

My issue is not with the Library itself or most of the Staff, seeing as most are volunteers. My issue is with the current "Manager" of the Library and her attitude towards people she views as less valuable than herself, as well as, her trying to enforce rules and laws that are non existent according to state laws or "The Village Charter" and "Library Bill of Rights" to the point that she has blatantly lied to Library users as well as Law Enforcement Agents of Key Biscayne.

Tried to take an LSAT practice test here. Total disaster. KB moms think that library = day care. This one kid set off the fire alarm. Idiots
