3 of the 4 members of my family have taken lessons at Kenny's - 2 kids and me. Kenny is a great guy and has a good teaching style that works for everyone. He has a ton of experience teaching and knows how to explain musical concepts so that even a hack like me can understand! Kimberly who runs the shop is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Kenny and Kimberly are truly part of the community here at Dana Point and we're lucky to have them.

Kenny is an amazing teacher. I came in starting guitar later in life (mid-30's) and took an instant shine to Kenny's way of teaching. He uses music and songs I love to teach the fundamentals, making it feel personal and not just a strum by the numbers experience. Love this place and love seeing Kenny and his amazing wife every week! Looking forward to coming here for a long time into the future. Thank you for teaching this old dog some new tricks.

I like and prefer Kenny's Music Store instead of the bigger music stores because I get much more personal attention and service. Kenny's got excellent repair services and his prices are great. Kenny's Music Store has such a great reputation for excellent customer service, it's no wonder he's risen to one of the top 100 dealers in the US. This is the place I refer all the musicians who come to my store, (California Records & Gifts, DP) and need strings, instruments, repairs, advice, or a professional opinion or recommendation. Being a professional working musician he (Kenny) will always steer you in the right direction and at a price that works for you. Plus he offers lessons with only certified instructors to musicians of all ages and levels. Whether you're just starting out or you're a seasoned guitarist. You owe it to yourself to visit this store. There is always a great selection and they carry many brands. Everybody raves about what a great little store he's got but it's not just him, his wife Kimberly and the rest of the staff are all friendly, knowledgeable and very pleasant to do business with. There are many music stores in OC but few stand out like Kenny's Music. One visit and you will know why.

Kenny's music is awesome! I took lessons from Brett for many years and I still get advice from him. They are extremely professional and I would definitively recommend buying instruments from them and also lessons.
