Outstanding customer service. I'm very thankful for the level of attention received on a recent purchase. How often do you get a reply from someone that's very busy and out of town? It's refreshing to know that there are people who still care about their customers. Who will work within their needs and budget. I couldn't be more pleased with the whole process from start to finish. J&R Bicycles went above and beyond expectations. This all started with an initial inquiry. Turned into a full blown build that I couldn't be more pleased with. Super fast shipping. They did everything they said they would. Highly recommend J&R Bicycles for all your BMX needs. Thank you.

No one at that company disclosed that the bike was on clearance.
Yes I did understand that the bike was in fact assembled just a couple days before Christmas.
There was absolutely no disclosure of damage to the bike such as the paint being scratched when I called.

I purchased the bike online.
Nothing was stated online about damage or even assembly for that matter. (Should be disclosed)
I only called to verify my purchase, because I've never conducted business before with this company.
I did ask questions.
I got few answers.
You're telling me manuals chain guards reflectors are hit and miss by bike companies ?
Allow me to enlighten you
They come with the bike in the box.
I have purchased so many bikes throughout the United States and this is the only company that I had trouble with.

I do believe you misinterpreted my intentions in regards to letting people know about my experience here. I even said nice things.
I wanted people to know my experience.

I was never denied anything, I was just simply ignored.
Once again no one bothered to let me know the situation and how they felt about the situation.
Again I did purchase it online and as I stated I called because I had never conducted business with this company before.

Very disappointed in this place.
I ordered a GT performer
I received the bike damaged also with stuff missing.

The people that spoke to me on the phone were wonderful.
(Except one female)

I'm really upset and I have been patiently waiting with no result in sight, so it seems.

I was told this bike was assembled a few days before Christmas and put on their floor.
I asked them if they would wrap it real good and make sure when they ship it to me that it won't get scratched.

They wrapped it real good in the box.
That was not at all a problem.

When they took the bike apart apparently, it got scratched up, along with forgetting to put some odds and ends in that it came with.

I was told I have to take pictures of the damage send them in an email and they will get back with me.
(I did exactly just that)

I spoke to a woman on the phone she said they would get in touch with me Monday.
That Monday has passed and so has the next one
Still nothing......

I did call "again", a gentleman answered.
Once again I provided this company with my order number and all the information.

This gentleman told me that he's going to send out the stuff that was missing.
I got an email that they're going to send out the missing parts.
Still haven't seen anything.

He also told me that they would get back with me and regards with the email about the damaged parts.

Now I did not want to send the bike back.
I already spent the time building it with my children, which is kind of priceless to me.
We also video recorded this and uploaded it to our YouTube channel.

I told J& R that I just wanted the stuff that was missing.
They told me they would send it.
I also asked them, that I would like a little bit of money back because I'm going to fix and repaint the damaged areas.
I thought this was a fair deal given how much shipping charges are nowadays.
If I was to ship the bike back that's money they're going to lose.
I thought I was being nice.
I was simply figuring I can get about $60 of my money back because that's what I just spent in materials not counting my time invested in fixing a brand new bike.
(It shouldn't be like that)

So like I said I ended up fixing the damaged spots prepping everything and repainting.

I do not recommend this company.
They have poorcommunications by far.
The lady that I spoke to she was the only one that was rude to me.
She seemed to have an attitude.
I was simply trying to get in touch with someone to resolve my issue.

My family and I have a YouTube channel that we do a lot of family adventures, specifically BMX

I certainly am going to share my bad experience with this company on YouTube.

Not the entire experience was bad.
The shipping was kind of fast.
The bike was packaged nicely and securely.
Some of the people I spoke to were very polite and nice.

Super stoked to have such a rad bike shop in my own backyard. The folks at J&R go above and beyond. Joe especially, his knowledge and skill can’t be beat. After having Joe do an amazing job of truing up some wheels for me I decided to have him assemble my custom freestyle BMX and lace up a new Profile back wheel for me. I could not be more stoked with the outcome and how dialed my bike is. He was excited and stoked to do it for me. I will not take my bikes anywhere but to Joe at J&R as you will get a pro level setup by a true professional everytime.

Fast shipping glad they used ups. fastest delivery to my house. I live in Florida so it got to my house in 2 days. First time ordering from them. Only problem was I order tires from them that are not folding tires. And they folded them all up and put them into a way to small of a box. They have metal wire around the beed to set on the rim properly. And when the wire is bent it doesn’t go back the same. So hopefully it sets properly without and lumps in tire. Seems like they were being lazy and didn’t care about my order or just trying to be cheap on shipping. Either way I would have payed more for shipping for them to have taken care of my product. I have nothing against the company and I love supporting local business but I will try my best to order from somewhere next time. I’m not trying to discourage others from ordering from them I was just unimpressed with quality of order.

I bought an Odyssey blue bird chain in Red finish the chain came with the crappiest plant job I ever seen not to mention when I tried to break the chain down the pins couldn’t even handle my chain breaker I addressed this issue to the company and they said no refunds once the product was opened so I’m screwed out of a chain this chain is junk and customer service didn’t care to help me. Look at this plaint job that’s not grease it’s just spots where they missed and they are selling products like this and don’t care to refund customers, the pins are so weak they are mushing and making it so the chain doesn’t move.
