We first met Jkapture at our sister’s wedding and were blown away by the same-day edit baby reveal! I distinctly remember seeing Joel sitting alone in the back and asking my wife, “Why is he just on his laptop?” Haha. But after watching that incredible same-day edit, we knew right then that they would be the ones to capture our big day in the future.

As soon as we booked our venue at Kualoa, the next people we contacted were Jkapture! Throughout the wedding planning process, Joel and Kristine were extremely supportive of our vision, easy to work with, and refreshingly honest. They didn’t hesitate to share their professional advice to help us scale back our quite excessive vision for the runway ceremony, thank you so much for that.

Jkapture was the videographer for our wedding in San Jose in October 2021 and the experience was simply AMAZING! Joel and Kristine are a really sweet, kind, professional, and delightful husband-wife videography team. Before our wedding day, Joel and Kristine made detailed and thoughtful plans, asking us about our story, vision, and preferences to make sure that our wedding video would be personalized and perfect for us. Joel and Kristine did tons of prep work to make sure they would seamlessly integrate into our day and get all the shots they needed, and it showed in the final product. The videos were incredible.

On our wedding day, Joel was the main videographer (Kristine was leading another wedding) and he brought along a second shooter. Joel came early to setup and remembered all of the important wedding details throughout the day. My friends and family loved working with Joel and his team and we had so many compliments about how easy, fun, natural, and helpful it was with them around all day. The Jkapture team captured so many special moments, while still giving us space and making us forget that they was there. Joel even stayed late to capture the beginning of the dancing portion of the night, which my party animal husband was very appreciative of!

We love watching our wedding videos (1-minute teaser, 4-minute trailer, and 30+ minute wedding film) and being able to relive all the special moments from our wedding day. We would choose Jkapture over and over again and highly recommend them for anyone looking looking for a videographer, or on the fence about wedding videography! You won't regret it!

While planning for our wedding, one major thing that my now-husband and I wanted to prioritize in was photography and videography. We definitely wanted to remember our wedding day forever as we have been waiting for this day our entire lives. We also wanted to share our day with our friends and family who couldn't be there due to the pandemic.

We got married on November 28, 2020 in Lake Tahoe and we are SO grateful that we invested in Jkapture! Everything from the communication/meetings, to the rescheduling (because COVID cancelled our original wedding date), and then, from our wedding day to the final product--we are astounded by the amazing services provided by Joel, Kristine, and Ryan from Jkapture. They have been understanding and helpful throughout the entire process.

Every time we rewatch the videos or see the photos, we are able to relive that day all over again. Our family and friends enjoyed our Insta-teaser and Wedding Day Video, too! The quality of their work is so professional - it was everything we wanted and more.

Finding the right videographer/photographer is just like finding the right person to marry. JKapture Studios was/is THE ONE. When we met with them, they felt like family and we knew instantly that we would be booking.

Weddings can be stressful, but Joel was cracking everyone up and easing the tension. Kristine was like the sister who solved every problem from providing safety pins, helping with wardrobe malfunctions, and assisting with communication. Their team was pure joy!

We had a micro wedding and majority of the filming and photos were done from our home. I was nervous about how the instateaser, documentary film, and photos would come out, but LET THEM DO THEIR PASSION because the final products were PHENOMENAL.

As a lot of previous reviews mention, Joel and Kristine are incredibly easy to work with. We met with them nearly a year before our wedding on September 4th, 2020 and we never doubted our decision since they were always so supportive even when we changed essentially the entire event due to current restrictions.
The day of the wedding, they were very professional and demonstrated efficiency while also keeping a light mood which really allowed us to enjoy our day. They ensured that our day went smoothly and kept us on time by helping us create a timeline for the event in the pre-event meetups.
Joel was able to get us our highlight video within the same weekend of the our wedding which was really great to receive while still on our honeymoon. Also, we got our pictures within a week and the quality was really astonishing. All of our family mentions that they cannot believe that they were able to get us such great pictures. Within two weeks we had our documentary and again, we could not believe the result! Joel was very helpful in making the adjustments we requested for the video.
Overall, Jkapture was very much worth the investment and remains one of the best decisions we made while planning the wedding!

Joel and Kristine aka Jkapture are truly a power couple!! They kaptured our beautiful wedding last month and we are beyond satisfied and grateful with the results and the whole experience of working with them! 🙂

As most couples know, planning a wedding is not easy and especially even harder if you have a baby like we did! From start to finish, they were so easy to work with and made us super comfortable on our big day. We hardly notice them filming us on our wedding to be honest. They are so organized and so good with communication as well. We appreciated all the details and help leading up to the big day because life gets so busy that we forget! It was also a thoughtful gesture that they gifted us vow booklets (and other little gifts) that we took advantage of during our ceremony.

Overall, they exceeded our expectations and we'll forever be thankful that we have our whole wedding day beautifully documented by them! Thank you so much Joel and Kristine- You guys are amazing!! Highly recommend this power couple if you're looking for a videographer! You won't regret it!

Joel and Kristine were recommended to us by our friends who said that Jkapture was their most favorite vendor, and we were able to experience first-hand why our friends kept raving about them. From our initial call, all the way to the delivery of our wedding film, their communication has been flawless. They not only laid out their services and expectations clearly, but also really took the time to get to know us as a couple, utilizing the initial meeting and their comprehensive questionnaire to build on our story for the wedding film. They checked in with us consistently, which I really appreciated as a Type-A bride. They made us feel like we were always top of mind for them.

During the rehearsal and wedding day, they gave us, our bridal party, and our family members direction with kindness which made us all feel a little bit more comfortable with the cameras. The day after the wedding, they surprised us with a teaser video that we were able to share with our friends and family immediately. Their turnaround is so fast that we received our wedding film before even a month had passed since our wedding. The film they created perfectly captured the best moments of our wedding and helped us relive one of the best days of our lives.
