Not only did I get an amazing salesman (JT/justin) but I was able find a brand new car for me and my girlfriend within hours of speaking with him from test driving 4 different vehicles each to walking out of financing. He was soo personable, knew what I was looking for and immediately pointed us both to great car options and didn’t push what we didn’t want. He was able to work with both of us to get an amazing deal and I could not recommend him more if you’re coming in for a car and don’t want to waste your time, he’s not gonna take you through hoops, he’s just gonna find out how to get you the car you need for the best deal. I wanted an EV instead of gas and fell in love with the ioniq 6, this car feels so luxurious and is so convenient and practical. I know car dealerships can be intimidating, but everyone here including mark was so great and funny to talk with, the banter was great the whole time. Highly highly recommend JT he was such an advocate and id have to say that was the best part of my overall experience. He was even nice enough to keep in touch with me if I had any questions or problems and I was able to text him regarding charging even though he should me in the beginning I forgot and he walked me through it over the phone, very knowledgeable guy, kind respectful etc… 10/10 experience with Hyundai, we went to kia next door before coming in and we weren’t helped right away, they didn’t have nearly as much inventory, test driving the cars was hard due to them packing the cars into the tiny lot, and the sales woman although super sweet, wasn’t really helpful just ended up getting a key for one test drive after 30 minutes of walking around to look at what we would even like. The financing in the back of Hyundai was nice as well, they had everything ready to go and stress free so once we found the car and were tired from going over all the options it was appreciated that the end was the easiest part. The only two cars I’ve bought were from this leesburg Hyundai and both experiences I couldn’t complain of anything. I’m glad I was able to switch my girlfriend from Kia to Hyundai, they both give great warranties, but Kia likes to flip flop with their customers with if they do have the warranty or not and their service center is always slow unorganized and understaffed. (Kia issue not really the staff), I know people in the service at Hyundai just from previous oil changes and I’ve never had to call and ask for an update 5 days later, I was always notified max 3 hours later and even for my gas filled up once or twice.

This is the paint job by Hyundai Jenkins in Leesburg, FL on garage-kept, hand-washed 2015 Sonata Limited 2.0T bought pre certified in 2020. The car had less than 97K miles when I took it to them in Spring 2023. They stalled and delayed until Fall 2023 and returned the car to me with paint still peeling in Feb. 2024. Took the dealership all of 2023 and half of 2024 to ā€œfixā€ the defective primer and paint, which is a known problem with Hyundai and Kia since an earlier class action lawsuit. And it’s still not resolved. This was after a 2-hour wait in the lobby to take photos; I had groceries for my elderly neighbor in the trunk and was told it would be quick. It wasn’t. Lie #1. I was initially told by Melanie that the claim had been approved and it would be no cost to repaint. Later, I was told by a different employee that (1) the claim was never filed and (2) the claim was not approved. Which is it? No one could say. Asked for the claim number. Refused. Asked to see the photos of the car I sat so long for. Refused. Asked if they included the photos of the trunk. Refused. Lie #2 - starting to see a pattern in abysmal customer service and business practices. Called Corporate and suddenly it was *partially* approved so I had to pay for this paint job. The problem is that they didn’t even do it right (sand and repaint with different primer) and they refused to let me see the process to ensure they weren’t just doing what I could do with a paint stick. Turns out they didn’t even repaint the small peeling spot on the trunk so it began peeling like this in October 2024 after getting it back for 2 weeks. The car sat with them untouched for 6+ months so long the battery died. Had to pay for that too. Took the car back to them in Nov. 2024 to get them to finish the paint job I paid for. Corporate gave me a claim number and instructions to take it to them and that it would be approved at no cost. Of course, this place refused to honor that or make good on their product, services and paint warranty. I’ve bought 4 Hyundai, including my first Elantra from here, and I will NEVER buy another Hyundai again. That includes the Genesis I had been wanting to trade this in for. Even the 2021 Hyundai and Kia have this substandard product problem. The dealership and customer service is also substandard. I especially recommend anyone to NOT deal with this dealer and to BUY ELSEWHERE because they don’t stand by their products or warranties.

Edited to add: it was approved despite ā€œage and mileageā€ (2015 with less than 98K miles) just 2 weeks before this photo by your dealership and one in Melbourne, FL where you sent me after you poorly painted my car so that it peeled 2 weeks after your paint job).

Had our tires rotated and oil changed, always happy with the service received at Leesburg Hyundai. They even washed our car! Just wanted to give a shout out to Sergio at the front desk customer service area. He was very informative and was able to answer all our questions honestly. Thankful for that.

Sales Complaint: 1 Star Rating too high. Complaint with Better Business Bureau filed. I saw the vehicle posted on the Jenkins website for $25,041, the salesman verified same advertised price but he did not give me a copy. 1 hour later in the closing office price read $27,143.96 on line 1, figured they had included the Dealer Fee, sales tax, title fee, tax and the paper was very small print (no I do not wear glasses). I focused on the bottom line figure, the amount to write the check for. It wasn't until later that I saw additional costs/fees on lines 19,20,25,30,31 meaning double charged. Wrote the G.M. an email - no response! Made several phone calls regarding not receiving the 2nd key which I guess they lost. Seller refused to do the right thing. Here's Jenkins Hyundai lame response: "There is not any supporting documentation as to the customers statement that the price of $27,143 included any fees. The fees the customer is referring to are the dealer fee, electronic registration filing fee, taxes, tag transfer fee and license fee, nothing was hidden. We want the customer to be happy with their purchase and are sorry to know they are dissatisfied. We stand by the price and numbers on the contract signed by the customer; however, we WILL get the electronic key they are requesting and send it to them." The only "supporting documentation" I received was one piece of 8x11 piece of paper which is attached. The typical sales tactics, like making you wait for the Finance office even though you are paying cash, like giving you a print out with small small print, like not addressing & solving the issues hoping the buyer will just go away - no wonder car salespeople have a bad name.

My wife and I had a great experience with our time at Jenkins Hyundai. There was no pressure from the sales staff, we were given the opportunity to test drive on our own, and the price we agreed on was honored on arrival. Our salesman Chris was very patient, courteous, and respectful.

The only issue we had during the paperwork signing process was a dealer add on listed at the bottom of the papers but not placed on the line item so there was a little more discussion of price beyond what had been emailed. However, we never felt any pressure and every person we encountered was kind.

During the financing discussion, all of the information was presented to us clearly without pressure to purchase which was a nice experience.

The show room is very clean and airy. There is a soda and snack area that our kids were able to navigate to stay entertained while we signed all the paperwork.

Service department is great and 5 stars. I never have any issues with that department. However sales department is 1 star, I'm completely disappointed with my purchase of my 2025 Tucson back in January. I felt pressured to buy and honestly feel taken advantage of.

This dealership lists one price in their website to get you in the door. Then there is a nonnegotiable ā€œreconditioningā€ fee if close to 2k. Along with one of the highest pre delivery fees (almost 2k also). So if you are going in there thinking you are buying a 14.9k car, it is really 20k. They waster your time with these games. The reconditioning fee should just be included in the price that they advertise. They tried to tell me it was for detailing a new tires. But I know that they are getting tires at cost. And the car wasn’t detailed that well. I would stick with a dealership that is more transparent and understands that your time is valuable.
