We were referred to Island Plumbing by both our general contractor and a high-end Realtor friend- and were blown away by the service we received. Communication with the office ahead of our appointment was smooth and easy. Plumbing technician Raul showed up right on time for our 10am appointment and couldn't have been more kind. He calmly and clearly explained the issues he had found and what needed to be done. Raul quickly made the repairs, took the time to demonstrate that everything was working- and was able to process my credit card payment onsite. We were very pleased with the entire experience with Island Plumbing- and highly recommend them.

Amazing experience!

We were waiting over a week for a different plumbing company to show up but they canceled on us 3 hours after the time they were supposed to show up to our Paraiso building in downtown.

I called our buildings management office and they recommended island plumbing. After calling the company we had a tech here within an hour. Super polite and didn’t mind waiting while the building was figuring everything out at the receiving dock.

Unlike the previous company that quoted us 6 hours and all these parts we might need since they were discontinued from when our building was built.. island plumbing finished everything under 2 hours charging fraction of the price quoted by another company.

We are very happy with the services we received and will make sure to recommend this company to our entire building.

I called with an emergency, Maria calked me back almost immediately, she sent an outstanding plumber , Gustavo, in less than an hour. He was amazingly professional, efficient, clean and informative. Pretty disappointed with Island Plumbing. Called several plumbing companies as I had an issue with my septic tank pump. I asked every company up front if they charge a fee to come out and provide an estimate. I only selected companies that did not charge to provide an estimate. Upon arrival, I spoke to the plumber and asked that he gain approval or provide an estimate to me before work was done. He said of course. As he was finishing up, he wrote me a $225 invoice for an assessment of something I already told him was broken and needed an estimate to fix. Called the office and they said they do charge to come out - starting at $75 for anyone located outside of key biscayne. Again, I asked for this info up front and it was not provided. They told me they could perhaps provide a discount if I decided to go with them. I totally understand that some companies charge to provide an estimate, but that is why I asked up front. I had 3 other companies come out to look and no one charged me. Further, no one other than the dispatchers would speak to me via the phone and while they were super nice, they had no authorization to do anything other than listen to the complaint. Extremely disappointed and feel taken advantage of. Will never do business with a company like this. Would not recommend.

These people are awful. Hired them to remove a blockage in a bathroom pipe. Paid +$500 and they didn’t do the job correctly. Only a few days had passed since they came to “fix” the issue before the bathroom was overflowing again. Worse, when I asked them to come and look at it, they told me they don’t guarantee blockages, that they did their job and it must have been me that caused a new blockage. I hired a different plumber and he pulled out what they didn’t, which actually fixed the problem we were having. They were dismissive and rude. I will never use them again and you shouldn’t either.

Terrible company, charged me nearly $2,985 to install a basic water heater. I didn't mind over paying, but what I didn't like was the fact they finished up at exactly 5pm on a Friday and when they left there was no hot water, when I tried to call the company they were closed and now I have no hot water until Monday.

So feel free to use this company if you want to pay 2x the cost of normal plumbing work and have terrible results like me.

Absolutely terrible company. Sent various emails and spoke to Erica C. on the phone 1 week prior to arranging the appointment, to make sure the plumber can install the toilet and arrives precisely on time, because the building allows only a small window for the water-shut-off. I made that very clear. She said the plumber might take another job first but promised me that whatever happens, he'll be here at 10:30am at the latest and worst case she'll pull him out to make sure he arrives on time. The plumber NEVER arrived. After asking repeatedly what the issue is, Erica told us first that "he had to take an emergency call after he was done with the first job" and eventually she revised the story to "he's still stuck with the original job". Asking her to pull him out (as she promised) she snapped back that "this isn't an office job" and there's nothing she can do for me anymore. In the end nobody came, and there was zero remorse from their side. Next water-shut-off is in a month from now, so we're stuck with the current situation for a while. Thank you very much Island Plumbing, you showed very clearly that you don't care about your customers. Luckily the building management agrees that this is unacceptable behavior and as a consequence we have removed them from all future work in our building (and I will make sure this stays in effect).

Island Plumbing installed a new water heater in our condo in April 2021. In January, 2022, during a routine inspection with our building's Manager and Engineering Head, they noticed that the heater was not installed correctly. I called Island Plumbing multiple times over the course of several weeks to ask them to come out and take a look, leaving detailed voice mails with my invoice number, date of service, etc. No one answers the phone there and not a single one of my calls was ever returned. It's not wonder they are no longer a preferred provider for our condo. By the way, the preferred provider came out the day after I called them. Buyer beware when it comes to Island Plumbing.
