My initial reception to this church was positive. I was effusively welcomed by one congregant and she excitedly took my phone number. I never got a call from her and when I went back a couple weeks later this same congregant totally ignored my presence. The only church I have had outreach from is in another area. It has been a very disappointing experience experiencing true Christianity outreach with the churches I have visited in Calera.

I drove an hour away to get some I was one minute she told me that I could not get any food God said feed the hungry I did not like that at all I think that was wrong what she did but you got you have to answer to God have a blessed

Still kind of new, but Pastor Deric is rich in knowledge of the Bible & an excellent teacher. He shows how the Word is relevant for everyone today. And he genuinely cares about you.
My kids also enjoy Kids Church & my husband enjoys coming too (that means alot to me)!

I really enjoyed my visit to Concord baptist church they have a beautiful new sanctuary and they have a nice building for youth to learn and have fun it's really a good church to go to and if you get a chance to add your email to there free newsletter you can get email alerts for special events like a huge yard sale or other events they like to go on missionary trips so they are always having great sales
