We stumbled across Henscratch Winery about 16 years ago and always said we need to head that way again. Well, today we did and were happy to see its the same as we remembered 💜

We enjoyed a tasting and quickly remembered our favorite, Southern Magnolia along with the Strawberry wine.

Hope it doesn't take us 16 years to get there again!

My mother, sister, and I come here every time we visit Florida. Its a cute little place where the chickens roam free and follow you while you shop. It always amazes me how docile the roosters are. The jellies are good and the wine is good. The wine tasting is only $1 for 4 tastes. Lots of little wine shop items. And the mixed breeds of chickens are cute. Especially the one with Tina Turner hair.

Great afternoon to spend at winery, its summer time and very slow. Still it's a place you have to try. It's not in as good of shape as it used to be. Hopefully we will not loose this memory making spot. I asked if any events where planned and was told non were planned.

We kept seeing signs for this place on US-27 and a flyer in our hotel, so we decided to check it out. We were SO happy we did. This place is so charming and fun (BTW, it's FREE to go in - the only charge would be if you bought something). It's a farm in the middle of nowhere surrounded by vineyards, chickens, a pig, and a super nice owner (it's a couple miles off of US-27). We talked to the owner for a long time, she was so welcoming and friendly. My friend sampled a couple of the wines then bought the one she liked best (no charge for sampling). The gift shop is filled with jams, wine, foods, and cute things to buy (take some time to look around at all the unique things). But, the BEST part is the beautiful chickens. You can feed them and they come right to you and are friendly and really beautiful. I loved the roosters that kept crowing. The shop is so charming with beautiful floors and ceilings. It's an open air place, and there was such a nice breeze coming in - even tho it was a hot day (I was here 9/12/2018). This is a GREAT place to bring kids to, or buy a nice gift at, or check out the delicious wines. Like I said, the lady was so friendly and welcoming, we were very happy we stopped in!

Love this little country store that has such great wines. No pesticides or sprays, while not certified organic, I consider them organic. You can taste before you buy. They're reasonably priced too, starting at $13.99. I will go back for more!
They have other items too, jams and home made stuff, and decorative country items. Feels quaint, country and friendly.
