I'm grateful and would like to give a big shout out to Mark Hammer of Hammer's Carpentry Service. I'd had some issues getting new doors put on my Florida house and it's a pain to try to manage from several states away. The "handy man" I hired quit after messing around with it for a week. Mark did me a solid by stopping by, checking out the damage, giving me a more than reasonable estimate, and fixing the issue (with a permit!) within a day or two.
