Love the vibes of this place! It’s huge and offers bar games but also has a dining area with great food!
They primarily have their own beer with a few other breweries as options.
The food was soo delicious! We got smash burgers and French fries with a side of Mac n cheese. Fries were absolutely delicious and crispy and they give you so many. The burger was a little thin for the fluffy bun but the sauce was really good and it was cooked really well! The Mac n cheese was rich but absolutely delicious and creamy! It had a great flavor.
I would definitely come back here for the food and vibes!

From the lawn, to the deck, to one of the quaint, cozy, fun rooms, and then back to the bar.... THIS PLACE ROCKS! Not just because of the band but because it's a cool and unique place to hang out. It is considered a locals favorite. I united with new friends from South Dakota, Texas, North Carolina, and Ireland.

This is an awesome brewery! I’ve gone to several new breweries in the past few weeks and this has the best beer without question. I tried multiple styles and they were all top notch. The small batch jolly rancher flavored beers were great and I’m glad I got to try them before they’re gone. The building itself is super cool and has a great story behind it. A simple google search can produce a good read on the history of the building and founding of Halpatter. I only had the jumbo pretzel appetizer for food, and that was very good. The patio space makes for a fun atmosphere and it’s a great place to listen to music. I got to speak briefly with one of the owners, Chris, and he’s definitely passionate about his beer and his community. The way they’re giving back and revitalizing downtown is awesome to witness! Overall, a great experience from the building to the beer to the people. The mojo is great and there’s nothing else like it around the area. I’d drive out of my way to visit here again. One side note: if you sit in the leather seat area be aware that the door leading to the patio slams pretty loudly.

This place is so awesome! It's in a beautiful historic building and they allow fur babies!! They have their own special drinks and the food is great. We had the orange chicken, cotton candy ice wine, black cherry cider and the banana Foster cheesecake! All of it was delicious!! Highly recommended!

Today was a day of driving and visiting rest areas, or at least it seems that way. It's time for an evening of people watching, review writing and beer drinking. I found Halpatter in downtown Lake City after nailing a parallel parking spot with people watching. Hooray for my rearview camera!

Inside, lots of stools and tables, I managed to secure a spot that was not only against the wall, which meant I had something to lean against, but there was also a power outlet so I could Yelp for a while.

A friendly sort of watering hole, the folks drinking beers and having a good time were grownups. No kids running about, it was a social place and it was nice to chat with a local about what's going on in Lake City, i.e., not much.

I stayed for three delicious beers (my limit) over more than two hours before heading back to the RV and on to wherever I would be spending the night.

My husband loves IPAs and said the Florida IPA was one of the best he has had in a long time. The atmosphere is also one of the best we have seen and we have been to at least a hundred breweries across at least a dozen states. The creativity of the interior design and the welcoming comfort are really special. This place is a hidden gem. I wish we lived closer.

Awesome place! Definitely recommend. New drinks menu is pretty awesome. Music is enjoyable. I love it when they have the Page Brothers band. They're my favorite!

Always love coming to Halpatter! The vibe is always very casual and laid back, the food always delicious and fresh, and the staff is always friendly. Their menu changes often which I enjoy because it shows creativity and I love trying all the new things they come up with. If you’re a local or just passing through, I highly recommend spending an evening at Halpatter.
