This has become our top place to RV! The campground is very well maintained. It's an easy bike ride to the beach, or quick car ride. The exhibits were great, the staff friendly. The pool was very clean. It is also close to several other amenities in driving distance. We can't wait to go back!

Beautiful campground. Well maintained and clean facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Campground fees get you daily access to the pier and great white sand beaches. Nice camp store but limited hours. Highly recommend.

I'm relatively new to camping at a State Park but this one was an absolute gem! We arrived late our first night as we were driving through. They emailed us the gate code so that we could get in. We stayed on the primitive site as it was only supposed to be one night stay. Loved it so much we extended our stay another night. The primitive sites are nice and shaded. The washrooms are very nice and well taken care of. The store is handy as we forgot our sunscreen for the beach. When you get your parking pass for the park, you can actually use it for parking at some of the beach locations and the pier which was amazing. Highly recommended park and can't wait to come back! Thank you for having us fellow

I enjoyed my stay here. Did not have much luck with the weather but this is a great park with lots to see, do and a family friendly destination. Nice beach front area and offers a range of walking paths.

Gorgeous state park! The beach is amazing, with miles of sugar-sand dunes. After playing in the water for a couple of hours, I cleaned off with an outdoor shower, then walked to the interpretive center and across the bridge toward the lake and campground. I saw some great views and the birds were singing!

On the downside, the beach pavilion is closed for construction, so we had to use Portable Potties.
I wanted to visit the Nature Center by the lake, but the road to the center went to the campground. I didn’t have time to figure out how to get through the gate without a camping pass, so I just left the park. Better signage would have been great.

Third time here and still loving it. Campground is well kept, clean and maintained. Bathrooms are also clean and maintained, showers have weird shower heads but are decent for a quick shower. Campground wifi is also decent and lets me do everything I need to do with minimal issues. I LOVE all the trails for bike riding and walking, and access to the beach is awesome too. This is the main reason we come here. One of the best state parks I’ve been to, and we’ll be coming back for years to come.

Campsites are spacious and clean. Be carefulful oura had a lot of ants, but that's camping. Picnic table was big and clean, and the sites are level. The bathrooms are spotless. So clean and we'll maintained. Long bike ride to the beach. Dumpsters are kind of far from the campsites. Well maintained bike lanes and trails. Nature center was wonderful. Pool was big and has a shade right in the middle with a little fountain and platform to sit on. Simple splash pad but my kids loved it especially my toddler, even my big kids played. The beach is white sands and gorgeous sunsets.

July 2024, 5 days camping with water, sewer, and electricity. The beach was nice and the water was warm. Family fun time. Swimming pool, visitor center, and 3 lakes to kayak on.

The campground has over 400 sites for RVs and tents.

The surrounding beach cities are fun to visit, shop, and plenty of restaurants.
