My wife and I purchased a bare-bones, used 2019 Mercedes Metris purely cargo van. We left it with GTRV early in the summer of 2021 and by September we a had completed, “new” Westy conversion. We have been taking it on road trips since. The photos are from July 2024 in the mountains of East Central Idaho. To say that we are happy and satisfied is a huge understatement. WE LOVE OUR GTRV METRIS WESTY CONVERSION!!! The folks at GTRV know what they are doing! Because they don’t mass produce their conversions, they are all semi-custom. They are continually improving their products. And they have been so great to work with! Mark and Koby have been extremely responsive and helpful with anything we have needed. The Metris suits us and our camping style and thanks to GTRV the van simply works and is hassle free! I had a ceiling water leak at a Maxaire fan on my van. I took my Transit Adventure Van to GTRV for repairs. They replaced a disintegrating adapter and broken fan housing, resealed everything and it looks great with no leaks. Mark and Koby are helpful, informative and easy to talk to. Scheduling the work was easy and the quality and workmanship was great. I am a DIY'er mostly. This is the second time I have worked with GTRV. I will contact them again

GTRV converted our Mercedes Metris in the fall of 2020. The entire process was great. Koby was a good communicator throughout the project and the owner Mark was very available for technical questions. We had a few custom requests and GTRV nailed them.

We've since taken our van cross country and through heavy usage with small children. More than four years later their work has continued to hold up, a quality product at a fair price.

I think the best part of GTRV is the continued support. Once a year, I call them with a question and they always help. They genuinely love supporting their customers. Most recently, Mark spend 30+ minutes on the phone with me helping diagnose an electrical problem I created, when attempting to install my own solar system. He could have said, "I didn't do this, not my problem", but instead he took the time to help me figure it out. I truly cannot recommend them more.

I modified an already upfitted Roadtrek Sprinter van. Even though the project was small in scope, GTRV treated it as just important as their full van conversion projects. They were realistic about when they could start it and when it would be completed. They estimated the cost that was very close to the actual. No surprises. Their process was thorough and the workmanship and materials were excellent. The principals were sincere and honest. They even shuttled me to and from the train station during the drop off and pick up. A great experience with some top-notch pros.

We have had our pop top for over a year and love the durability and craftsmanship that was put into making it happen. GTRV's staff communicated with us very well, answered all questions and went the extra mile even with logistics when dropping our van off. We opted for only the pop top to be added to our AWD 2016 Sienna and it has changed our car camping experience. We even camp in mid winter up at the ski resorts to help us save us some money as a family of 4. Best quality build that I would recommend to anyone interested.
