Awful experience. We wanted to return an Air cooler within 5 days (unused) that we bought and even discussed that we might return it if it’s small for the space, and they ensured that we have 30 days. The moment I walked in with the return, everyone started being aggressive and started accusing us indirectly that people buy and use it and then return it . That was said at-least three times, and while one of the employees was trying to help (Fransisco), the other employee interrupted and was equally aggressive commenting “I told the girl who bought it that this is not returnable (total lie) and proceeded to tell other employers that its Friday and not to argue and implying we are lying. It is not just disgraceful but really shows the environment the leadership is endorsing and supporting. Congratulations for losing a loyal customer, and I hope other people don’t experience the same harassment just because they want to return something that didn’t work out for them.

Goodman Building Supply is a fantastic hardware store. They have everything, and it's great to support a small business.
I've found the staff friendly and knowledgeable, and I would like to give Aslam a special shout-out. Although he didn't have to, he helped me set up a security system I'd purchased. Impressive customer service.

Bruno is one of the best team members I have come across in hardware supplies. One of my electric garden lights was broken. First he tracked down the $499 unit with six pack of lights that I bought. But I only needed one light. He found out I had a one year warranty which was confirmed by my Goodman’s receipt. He got me the SKU number and model description so I can call the toll free service number he found on the internet.This took him minutes to get it right. Whereas I would have been frustrated not knowing where to start and whom to consult. Kudos to Bruno. Job well done!

I'd love to support smaller businesses over larger chains, but it doesn't really make sense if they're just so much worse. Wandered around the rabbit warren aimlessly trying to find someone to help. One guy said I was in the wrong area, and I needed to go to a different building, which was completely deserted. Couldn't find what I needed, went back to the other building and was told someone "should" be there. Eventually one dude helped, but it was way harder than it should be. Sorry guys, but Home Depot just works.

I purchased two items that didn’t work for us and tried to return them the next day. The store refused to refund because one of the items didn’t have the original clear plastic wrap and the other item looked touched. Of course we opened them to find out that they didn’t work. They said no return since the items couldn’t be re-sold. I feel that a store should guarantee their merchandise. If something doesn’t work, it should be returned to the manufacturer, not be back on the shelf. This experience taught me that in the future I need to drive longer distances to a different hardware store.
