Charges way too much for their services to have multiple brown outs per day. They better lower their prices if they're gunna actively try to fry people's electronics.

I have been dealing with Glades Electric for a few years now. Personally I do not have any issues with Glades Electric. I have multiple properties that are serviced by Glades. Every time staffs are co-operative and are performing in a professional manner. Kara J Hoffer is a noteworthy representative and is an asset to any organization. Keep up the good work. God bless you all.

Outages are insane and reconnection fees are ridiculous. The lines and poles are just now being replaced in some areas here. I don't understand how or what they are doing that this grid is failing so hard. We had a fraud happen on our card which we switched. So we called Glades to secure the autopay to the bank account and some mysterious reason it was back on the declined card and we missed a payment and was charged late fees and reconnection fees. Why can't the system update the information, what is going on with this website?

Not sure what is going on but the power is out again for the 4th time in a week… Just a terrible company… Friendly employees but horrible company… Way to expensive for the service you get… Like having power in a third world country…

Terrible customer service with attitude. If you have dealt with them you know exactly what I mean. Just take a look at how much the salaries are. ( board member head 18,000. Year 1 hour a week. Talk about good ole boy network. Please take over FPL, End this middleman scam. This is a rural area with ,in some cases lower or retired people on fixed income or lower than average wages. The CEO salary with 17,000 customers is crazy even if the excuse is its average. As one review stated on Glassdoor the upper people have no idea what the lower people do. Investigate yourself. See if all the bad reviews are correct.

Since we moved in last year we have had two power outages. On both occasions Glades responded to our outage within an hour and resolved the problem. On this date we got a really bad storm that took out or power, shortly after contacting Glades one of their technicians was at our house working on the issue under heavy storm. I would like to give a big thank you to that gentleman for his dedication to his job.

For many years, Glades Electric has caused lots of problems with my appliances due to the low and high power surges. A few months ago, I had 3 major appliances go out all at the same time. This was around June, we had a lot of lightning and then my overhead range hood went out, our pool pump and air conditioner went out, all within a few days of one another. Of course, they denied that it had anything to do with them or their surge protecting product that was removed from my meter and never replaced. It's been like this for over 34 years, I have no idea why I thought it would change. Their electric service sucks out there where I live. Power goes out all the time, you call to complain and they try to make you feel bad because of course you are the only one calling to complain about it. Well, everyone else is tired of calling so they don't call. Terrible service, terrible company, they don't care about anything but putting money in their pockets.

All things in Life are Up & Down, all wish it was not so. Glades Electric today is doing a great job. Things happen when hurricanes hit...or a pole is taken out, a power company is certainly not the fault, Glades employees may be out or on a generator also!. Lighten up on the reviews after 14 years with Glades, they are doing the best that can be done.
