Brett and Ryker are some of the best people I have come in contact with when it comes to gear sales. I recently went to rock creek riverside to get racks for my truck. At first it was just for beta but then I pulled the trigger after being well informed by the knowledge Brett has about the Yakima products. After my purchase they installed my racks. But they ended up in a monsoon of rain while doing so. They came in to the shop asked me to move my truck under some cover outside and finished the install. They could’ve stopped and told me “we can’t do it in the rain” or any number of excuses. However they went above and beyond to make sure I left the shop with racks ready too go. They are the best people to go to and you can shop local. Go check them out and you won’t be disappointed.

I went in there a few weeks ago and came out ready to paddle. I took the rapid learn to paddle program and needed all my own gear after graduating. Spoke to Julian and he set me up with equipment that I really like - I think I left with a spray skirt and a PFD, some float bags, and a paddle. All of them fit me and my boat perfect. No pressure situation just educating me on the products and what my choices were, and the guy had a wealth of information. They also have a membership/discount program that was a no-brainer if you're buying a bunch of stuff from them.

We’re so lucky to have such a great outfitter and gear shop like Rock Creek in the Chattanooga area. Every time I go to any of their locations the staff are more than happy to help me out with whatever questions I might have and they’ll stick around until you’re comfortable with the gear you’re getting. I was buying a sleeping pad and they took a few of them out of the packaging just so I could try them out. 10/10 would recommend.

Sometimes, nothing you do to try and fix the problems you're having with your bike seem to work. Sometimes, it takes another set of eyes and hands. I called Rock Creek within minutes of their opening and gladly learned they still worked on bikes.

Patrick, the bike mechanic even called me to talk about my needs before I even went there. Once I was there he started right in isolating adjustment issues. Lots of tweaks and adjustments - done! In minutes, not hours or days.

If you need help where you don't get judged for not knowing and where your mechanic takes the time to explain and show what he's doing THIS is where you need to go.

Ryker and Nick were GREAT help. went to plenty of bike shops before that and only had advice from a ‘salesman’ point of view so I was never getting truthful, genuine information. Ryker and Nick both helped me and taught me so much about the bike I wanted, I couldn’t pass it up. I had a wonderful experience renting a tantem kayak from this location. They were closing up for the season so, we were coming in right at the end. We worked with Nick directly & he was extremely helpful. This was my first time on a kayak with my friend. We had Nick deliver to our chosen location & from beginning to end it was a fabulous experience. He was so kind and easy going.
