It was a great experience overall. My partners and I got in and out rather quickly and then they had roses on discount which was awesome.she went and got her prescriptions ready. They also had a while of a bunch of dishes ( plates cups bowls Etc .....I'm only in Mesa once in a blue moon but this was something that I would have to say is something special and the whole plaza has restaurants . I definitely would recommend coming to visit this location and if you can get some more information.

Good produce. Large variety of cheeses. Deli and bakery are great. Sushi made on site. Selection of seafood in the meat department.
Pete is the quickest and friendliest cashier in their staff.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!
It's sad when Walmart has a faster checkout. The majority of the customers here are elderly and this location is always understaffed on cashiers and baggage clerks! When I asked for extra help I was told sorry this is all we have. My groceries alone will cover an extra employee for 10 hours! I'll be looking for a new grocery store.

The shopping was typical until my sister in law and I, both handicapped, went to check out. The first thing I heard from the bagger, Tom, was anti Trump remarks and after he bagged about half our groceries, he saw a friend in line behind us, said I’m done with you two ladies, then abandoned us to bag our own. I asked the cashier to see a manager, and he said he was one of the managers. He had witnessed the whole thing, yet did nothing. I told him that I found Tom’s behavior to us was very rude, yet he was nice to the customer behind us. We spend around $300 a week at that store. Time to spend our money where we aren’t treated so rudely.

On the morning I visited for shopping not one employee greeted me in the store or asked if I needed help not one even though there were many around also when I was waiting for my Uber ride I couldn’t find a bench or anything to sit on very unfriendly and not the best experience I guess I’ll go back to who used to shop with. It’s a shame because I’ve been shopping at Fry’s for decades. This isn’t very close to me.

Sunday morning 9/15/24 shelves are pretty empty, a few stocker carts are in the isles, but nobody putting the stuff on the shelves. The personal shopper lady was flying up and down the isles almost ran into me. At the cashiers station 7 people with baskets full are standing in line for a "real" cashier and of course no bagger, my husband bagged our stuff, while employees were standing around jabbering...Our cashier had the personality of a grapefruit. Never said a word except that will be $179.93
The shelves Should Be Stocked in the Evenings or Overnight.
Where are the supervisors that are supposed to be babysitting employees who stand around
just watching people jabbering.... Come on Kroger need to do a better JOB!
You're buying up all the different stores and YOUR SERVICE IS GOING DOWN HILL.

Very well organized store. It was also neat and clean. The produce section has a wide variety and is well stocked. The bakery section had just what we needed, a small birthday cake with whipped cream frosting. The liquor section is better stocked than a lot of dedicated liquor stores where in from in New York. The staff were friendly.
