Today is February 13th 2025...We have been trying to get power since December 10th 2024. Can never get a human on the phone. The person we were dealing with only communication is through email which is now disconnected. I have had to do there job for several portions of this process and am very frustrated. They have a monopoly on electric in my area so I am at the mercy of this company while paying for a house without power. Communication breakdown at its finest! If we ever get power I'm sure they would communicate really quick to turn power off if I missed the payment!!!

It is deeply concerning to share the challenges my family has faced with FPL’s service. My parents established an account on December 5th for their new property in Lake City, and as of today—over a month later—they still do not have electricity.

Efforts to resolve this matter have been met with conflicting information and a lack of clear communication. Every call to FPL results in a different update, with no definitive timeline provided. When I visited the local office, I was informed they do not handle customer service and was referred to a representative named Kylin. While she acknowledged that the delay involves replacing a transformer, she was unable to provide any assurances as to when this would be completed. Further attempts to obtain updates have gone unanswered or yielded vague responses.

It is unacceptable for paying customers to endure such delays and poor communication regarding such a fundamental service. The lack of accountability and urgency to resolve this issue reflects poorly on FPL’s commitment to its customers.

This ongoing situation has left us no choice but to explore formal complaints with the city and other appropriate avenues to ensure this matter is resolved promptly. FPL must address this issue and uphold the level of service expected from a utility provider.

Those people are pure thieves after 5 years I figured out that I was charged between $100-$200 for FPL Budget Billing. I wasn't aware of it. They always charge you extra never you less. That's called a thieves plan. They are stealing people who are already struggling to pay the high actual bill. It will be ok of 50/50 sometimes you pay more and sometimes less. The problem always charges you more. Shame on you guys.

It is impossible to speak to a human representative. Every time you ask it says that option is not available. My bill was wrong and my power cut off 2 weeks after the bill was paid. This company is a joke. I hate that I have to use them. I’d give them 0 stars if I could

30 minute call hold and still waiting, I wish I didn't have to use this company. They are complete garbage. I have no speech issues and the AI heard RIO instead of ROBERT. This entire company is stupid in every way.

Zero communication. Read all comments. Horrible response time. Changed all appliances and lights in my house to energy efficient and the power bill went up. New A/C and raised the temp. Bill went up. I’m in the wrong damned business.

they seem to have only a skeleton crew of 3 humans for phone support.
tried to a week to fix my payment info.
tried to call all week never got a human except for 3x. how do they not have 24/7 or at least better hours and way more phone support.
also cash only there's like 3 locations in this city but that's ridiculous.

This is NOT a customer service center as publicized. Just trucks and a building behind locked gates. No way to speak to a human at FPL. All their lines say that speaking to a representative is an “option not available.” Thank goodness for Clay Electric!
