Visited whilst checking out the nearby car meet on a Saturday. As a tourist especially, this is a great place to go, as plenty of locals were there and this added to the atmosphere. Service was excellent, with Winnie being very attentive and friendly. Beer selection was excellent and well kept, with the food being very good too. My 'Jiffy Burger' was fantastic, though perhaps a tad too much peanut butter was included, but for all I know this is normal. A must-visit spot for beers and burgers!

The absolute best experience I have ever had at a restaurant. The atmosphere was incredible and Jeffrey was an amazing waiter. He offered great suggestions (which I tried and was NOT disappointed at all). He also paid attention to detail and made sure that I was completely satisfied!

Today, more than a week after visiting Ford's Garage I am editing my review and dropping their Service Stars a bit. Why? Because after my original review I received a response from them stating I should go to their web site, fill out a form and they will reach out to me.

Well, I did go to the site and completed the form over a week ago.

Did I hear from them?

No, which says to me the service from their corporate entity is just as bad as the local restaurant, if not worse. I guess the apple does not fall far from the tree in the Ford's Garage family.

ORIGINAL REVIEW

I have been writing reviews for many years, and it wasn't until recently that my experiences have been bad. In the past the places I went to were great, of late, that is not the case. And Ford's Garage was another disappointment.

I guess it started when my wife and I entered and were told there will be an automatic 20% gratuity placed on our bill. I generally tip based on service 15-25% is my normal range, but there are times I have exceeded my norm, and times I went under. So the mandatory 20% did not sit well with me.

And to tell you the truth, if I wasn't so drained the evening I went there I would have asked for the manager because the staff did not deserve the 20% they received.

Why?

First, the silverware was dirty, scratched, and full of water spots. Then, the service left a lot to be desired to say the least. When I wanted to get a second beer, it took about ten minutes until I saw my waiter and could ask for the beer. And the food...we ordered nachos with pulled pork and cheese, and fried chicken tenders with a side of jalapeño creamed corn...the only thing that was hot was the chicken. The nacho dish was luke-warm with the cheese already solidifying when we got it. Also, it had much too much sauce on it for our taste. The corn was also warm, not hot. But the chicken was piping hot. It was as if they placed everything on the dishes before they started to cook the chicken, and added the chicken when it was done, and then brought it all out to us. How else can it be explained?

And by the way, as you look at the pictures I took, it wasn't like the place was busy with customers and the staff had too many people to handle. Nope, it should have been a much better experience...should have been able to get a second beer promptly...should have had clean silverware and the food should have been hot.

Maybe it is time I stop going out to eat. I can make myself a sub par meal at home and actually use clean utensils to eat it, and get a cold beer out of the fridge the minute I am ready for it. And then give myself a well deserved 20% gratuity!

Our party of 10 had the pleasure of being served by Jason during our visit, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we sat down, he greeted us with a warm and friendly smile, making us feel immediately welcome. Jason was attentive and kind . His timing was perfect, ensuring we had everything we needed. It’s clear he takes pride in his work, and his positive attitude really made our dining experience memorable. Highly recommend Jason !

Been wanting to visit one of these since I have and drive vintage Fords and this is a very neat concept! So glad we came! What a neat idea of Ford to do! The waitress Winnie at the bar was outstanding! She was very friendly and helpful while ordering and very hospitable! The entire set up is so neat and unique too! Love all the word play and displays! There are neat concepts and quotes all over too! The food was exquisite and very tasty! If you love creamed corn try it! The burger had excellent flavor and tots and everything was excellent too! They have over 120 beers and 37 on tap on the wall! We will be back for sure! Only downside was the hostess at the front whose name starts with K, has zero personality or desire to help you! But didn’t let it affect our opinion of our experience. Great spot, good job Ford and investors!

This was my first time eating at fords garage. The atmosphere was so nice, it was very welcoming and the decorations really brought the place together to fit the theme of the restaurant. The food was so good , I highly recommend the famous Firestone shrimp !! The burgers and onions rings were so good as well. My server Jason was very attentive and had an outgoing fun personality. He was the best and I highly recommend him. I definitely will be coming back !!

First time here! On vacation in Orlando and decided to give this place a try. Great food and the quality is even better. All cooked to perfection! David was our server. I had dropped a piece of food on my shirt and shorts. Apparently, he noticed and brought me soda water. I have never had a server pay attention like this before. This prompted him without me asking to bring me some soda water to keep the stains from setting in. David went above and beyond! Thank you! They do add 20% for a tip to your bill, but I provided David with a tad more for his kind and professional service! Overall, it was a great experience!
