I dropped off my truck to be shipped back down to the lower 48... this location is responsible for the damage to the paint in several areas. They didn't bother to cover up the tailgate and cab with something to prevent bugs from cementing themselves into my new trucks paint! When I picked it up I was offered $100 for the scratches and almost laughed at the idea I could get anything fixed for $100. The claims process is a nightmare where they ask for multiple quotes and tell you that there is a cheaper shop that will do the work for less money but they won't tell you where exactly that shop is. To make matters worse the guy in charge of claims pulls a number out of the air and decides that's the amount they will pay you even though they have no idea what other damage you found on your vehicle after going and getting it washed with their free voucher. You probably already know: a car wash isn't going to remove the collection of bugs acquired in Alaska! If you have to ship from this location make sure it's the vehicle you don't care about or find another company. Ps, the people working at this office location were nice. Nice people but damaged vehicles; just wanted to warn people so you know what to expect. Good luck.

The guy with glasses who assisted us in picking up the mustang is phenomenal, the customer service is great! Keep it up! And never knew they clean the vehicle, unlike other locations they just give it all moldy and dirty

Took forever to get our vehicle from Anchorage. It's been there for a week at this point and called to ask when it might be here and they were completely rude and unprofessional. Also asked if we could just go pick it up from the port in Anchorage and they told us no we have to hold your vehicle until it arrives in fairbanks. They are all around just slow, rude, and unprofessional.

We had our vehicle shipped from here, and everyone was nice to us. Little bit of a wait for an inspector, but they are informative and do what they can so your car is ready to go. Try to have a towel so you can wipe off any dirt that might have gotten on the car cause the one thing they truly want is a car that is clean inside and out. No snow, just chilling on the roof or the caked mud on the tail end. The inside pretty much needs to look like you are trying to have it ready to show. So I'd recommend getting those lost fries from between the seats cleared out cause they will find it.

By far the easiest and smoothest vehicle processing center I've been to. Also the closest to a military post, and very friendly staff.

I genuinely wish I could give 0 stars. We brought our car in and had the wrong paperwork (our fault) and they also said our car was “too dirty” so they denied us. Mind you, we had our car professionally detailed. It was clean. I wish I had taken photos now.
My husband did a quick clean at the appt and they said it was clean enough now and to come back with the correct paperwork the next day.
We came back with the correct paperwork the next day and had to get a POA because our friend had to ship it since we left had to fly out that day.
And the car was denied again because apparently our car is not clean enough (even though they okayed it the day prior.)
I was so upset and anxious over this. I cannot explain the stress this caused. We had to leave our vehicle in Fairbanks and hope our friends were able to get it shipped. We are a family of 5 and will now have to go without our vehicle for even longer.
Made our move way more stressful than it needed to be.
Be prepared to have your car denied several times! They finally accepted it at our 3rd appt.

It's either hit or miss. They turned my vehicle away the first time due to my wheel having a protective cover, that these VPC's apparently don't have an 8mm socket wrench to remove. I had to reschedule for the same day of my flight back home. Upon picking up my vehicle in the lower 48, it was very dirty, which is astonishingly ironic since they won't even take your vehicle unless it looks brand new off the assembly line. Just another burden for soldiers PCSing, as if the Army wasn't stressful enough.

Still have nightmares about this place. Front desk receptionist was extremely rude the two times I’ve been to pick up and drop off my vehicle during my assignment in Fairbanks. Making an already stressful time PCSing unnecessarily difficult because of their standards. Wish she understood what military PCSes were like so she’d be kinder and understanding if we show up a few minutes late, might have misplaced a document you can get online, and understand if it’s our last few days we can’t just go get a POA or make a new appointment as our time is booked up.
