After talking to Britne for several weeks, I have decided to just cut my losses and post the review. I have been given a run around for a refund that she had said she would do, but it's not worth the energy or time anymore. We can't get those moments back and I wish we had gone with some one else.
So, starting from the bare basics the only reason I gave even a one star is because Bachir was a very kind person and took his time. The easiest way to do this is by pros and cons
Pros: the Groupon cost was worth our time. We only wanted 30 minutes of sunset time. We come every year to Seaside and are looking for a permanent photographer.
Bachir was very kind and patient (he gave us extra time due to a traffic jam that set him back on time)
Cons: few shots came back of the sunset with an ocean background. We were given more the sand dune/ chain fence back ground
Angles were unflattering. Half of our pictures show us wondering what angle we were at/not told where to look or how to pose. Bachir was kind but spoke minimal English so his directions were near to none.
The angles were all from the photographer shooting from an upwards angle that flattered no one and majority had pictures of our eyes close. The camera was slow to capture moments, and no better than ones we had taken on our phones. We are given an option for 10 free prints, but we struggled to even find 10 pictures worth having.
All in all, $120 for 30 minutes and the pictures they show case on their website is misleading to the quality picture you will get. Also, we were only promised a partial refund because of the time and effort into editing. Do not recommend.
