We had an issue with a warping lid on the 123 cooler. Linda was prompt, helpful, and patient, giving advice and instructions over several days. We had options, and decided to pull the insert pin to remove the warped lid, after which Linda sent us a new lid and insert pin. With her instructions we were able to install the new lid. All this was at no cost to us. We are more than satisfied with her effort to solve our problem under warranty. Thank you Linda!

Hi There! I live in a retiree apartment and have been pleased to use an Engel Freezer/Cooler for well over 20 years. My unit has served as a small freezer in my living room/kitchenette arrangement. When it quit cooling I looked for Engel service. That was about a month go. I contacted Paul Kabalin and his crew in Jupiter, FL. I'm in Missouri. He listened to my cooler issues and in a few minute he offered the cure and advised me to buy a drop in compressor kit and diy the repair. And offered to talk me through the process.
So with the assistance of Linda in the shipping I bought and promptly received the kit. With minimal DIY skills and some tech phone calls with Paul I was able to restore my freezer to it's former glory.
I don't think I've ever enjoyed the assistance a more friendly and competent team. I've read the 100% satisfaction reports on this site and find them totally credible. I've shared my experience because I know that helping people do repair of this kind over the phone takes a special kind of expertise and
patience.

I really like this brand until the cheap plastic hinges broke on my cooler. And had to buy metal hinges, if they cared about customers or quality it would have had the metal to start with . I'll try other brands now.
Updated: I see your point with the salt water , I use mine for work an fresh water fishing. I changed my review from two stars to 4.

I worked with Raylene Baddeley with Engel and we had a very tight timeline for an upcoming tournament Ray was in constant contact with me on this project. She has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to performing her job going above and beyond expectations and was a complete joy to work with. I expected our custom coolers to be delivered tomorrow, but was pleasantly surprised today when I got all our product delivered earlier than expected and it looks AMAZING!!!!!!! Thanks again Ray! I recently purchased their 19 Qt bait well. The stringer net that came with it was a bit too large and could not fit onto the cooler. Linda Hoerst was quick to resolve the issue by sending me a replacement. Truly appreciated.
