I was more than pleased by the whole experience I had with EMP's coordination and work on the installation of a 240 V, 40 A circuit for charging my EV. Many electricians were called, few responded, and EMP provided an acceptable bid, made the date, and stayed on touch until the actual day of installation.

The installation was done as planned, with modifications suggested and discussed and approved.

Work was pursued diligently and professionally.

We recently had one of their electricians out to fix a few switches and a can light above our shower that was intermittently working. After fixing a few light switches and moving on to the shower light, the electrician promptly broke the can light fixture in an attempt to get it off and perform a repair. We thought this would be no big deal because they would surely fix what they had broken right? The electrician apologized and said she would file a claim. After a little while, we called their office to get a status update. The manager there claimed they would make it right and they would call right back. After several hours with no call back, we received a single call back where the manager quickly said “oops” and hung up. My wife then called them at least 4 times to get a response but got none. I then called from a separate number and did get a response, where I was told “your can light was old and because this work was done under a home warranty claim we won’t be fixing it.” Wow. Until this point we had been very polite and respectful. We have had many professionals out on home warranty claims and have never been treated this way. When something else is wrong, we just file another home warrant claim, or work to make it right. It’s like they didn’t want to own up to their mistake. I really don’t care about the $30 fixture. I can replace that myself. It’s the principle of how they treat customers just a mile or two away from their business. They literally broke something that wasn’t broken, left, and ghosted us. What a lack of integrity. See pictures and judge for yourself.

I have a property in Arroyo Grande, CA that was having strange issues. Appliances, clocks, cameras, etc. The only common denominator was electricity. I came across Electrical Maintenance while searching for a company that could evaluate the entire home, diagnose and correct found issues. I sent a message via their website in the afternoon and received a call promptly the next morning. They worked out a good schedule for me to have a complete evaluation performed. The tech was excellent! He tested every plug and switch under load and found eight plugs/switches that were defective and/or a threat. The entire visit was about three hours to complete, while taking no breaks. There are now no issues that were plaguing us for so long. The tech also gave great advice of what to look for to help keep a potential problem from getting worse. They had reasonable rates especially with the complexity of the visit. I now have their card on the wall and next time I need an electrician, they will be the first and only number that gets a call.

If you need electrical repairs completed at your home, I highly recommend Electrical Maintenance Pros. Collette, the technician came to diagnose the issues with our inoperable ceiling fan. We ultimately replaced it. She arrived on time and completed the work efficiently and cleaned up the space afterwards. We now have a cool downstairs space with our new fan!😊Ally at the office set up and confirmed all apps via text and was pleasant to deal with. I know I can trust them with any future electrical needs.

Terry and an assistant came to our house to fix a problem that we had. It was a very difficult problem and he was able to come up with an ingenious solution.They spent a lot of time here and ended up only charging us for a for a small amount due to the unusual nature of the problem.I would recommend them.
