If I could give negative stars, I would. DJ Trusses is the type of company that will make you feel like they care about their customers and employees, but they don’t. They care about themselves. If you need trusses, go somewhere else. This company tells you what you want to hear just to screw you over.

EDIT: Apparently this company ALSO makes assumptions, as per their response. I DID call about a few issues, one being that one of their delivery trucks almost took off the front end of my car while my child was in the car and I was very quickly dismissed. So, if I need to call again, I most certainly can, but do I have any hope that it will resolve any issues? No. No one seemed even the slightest bit concerned. Maybe the Department of Transportation might care a bit more? I’m really not sure. And you may not be able to discuss personal situations publicly, I most certainly can. I would love to see in what company policies it’s alright to almost take out a civilian’s front end and dismiss them like it’s nothing. What company policies or laws allow you, as a company to allow employees to drive a semi truck with air brakes that weren’t functioning properly? I’d also like you to know that a few of your clients have personally told me that your trusses have consistently come to them looking inconsistent with poor cuts. So maybe reevaluate your sawyers and have someone double check your trusses before you send them out. Also, if it took you THIS long to respond to my review, how much can you real care as a company? If you’d like to discuss further, I can most definitely give you guys a call back but I didn’t receive a whole lot of care last time.

Great experience working for the first time with DJ Trusses, easy to go and great communication in every step of the way. I have to say, the guys delivered super fast, as I wasn’t expecting to be so soon and it worked out great, and they went above and beyond at the finals steps. Definitely this is gonna be just the first of many times we’ll continue to work together in the future. I want to give a shoutout to Desteny and Tim. Honestly, highly recommend to everyone.

DJ Trusses was so easy to deal with. I ordered and they delivered on the exact date they predicted 2 weeks out. Driver Daryl put them exactly where they needed to go. It was a nice experience with DJ Trusses.

I want to give the whole crew @ DJ Trusses a huge thank you for taking care of us these past few years! DJ Trusses has and continues to provide our company (GWB Custom Homes) with trusses, for all of our custom home builds (Located in Naples, FL).

There is no one else we would rather use when it comes to trusses. Engineering, pricing, customer service, and lead times are all spot on. I would highly recommend DJ Trusses to anyone in need of trusses throughout Florida!

At first impression we were happy. Bill Brown came to our home and Saul the construction that we were doing on the home and was here for over an hour looking at blueprints with us to our project. We felt confident that all was going to be done correctly. We received a quote And after signing it and sending 50% deposit to DJ tresses they came back to us a few weeks later with a whole different contracts raising the price of the original contract, by $2k,which we had already signed. We went to their office to discuss this and we were told that they had made a mistake with the design of the trusses and that it was going to be more. They didn’t meant to their mistake and so at that moment we decided to back out since they broke their side of the contract. We were told that we were going to get a full refund and left the office thinking that all was going to be resolved. We were told that we were going to receive a check the following week and waited almost 2 weeks when we finally got a call back that the check was ready but that it was not the full amount. We went back to the office (which I want to mention is more then he away) and once again were lead to think all would be resolved but nope. Advice is to be careful with this company they are trickers. We will be taking this to court.

I wish I could give a great review for DJ Trusses in Lakeland because the men look very attentive, but professionally they are unprepared to deliver their promises at least to homeowners. We are waiting for our trusses SINCE December 2016. They don't care, every time we call they will give us a new excuse. No one wants the responsibility. They didn't respected our time frame with Lakeland City, our Permit already expired and we couldn't do the front of the house because of the trusses. We spoke with MR Bill and than with the Manager Mrs Dennis, and he told us they will deliver the trusses " immediately " but we are still waiting. They don't communicate anything what's is going on. Today I called to know what is happened and Mr Dennis' new excuse ..." the computers got hacked " Maybe they don't want to work with homeowners, but they should be fair and tell us and return our money back. I don't know if they will see this and answer us, but I am writing this review to those homeowners that need trusses to avoid DJ Trusses. Awful customer services! Awful experience so far! it's is bringing us to much headache with the schedule of our project.

Their driver cut me off on the FL Turnpike Southbound with the company car going at 90+ miles an hour. I almost lost control. It was a white male and there was a passenger. If that is the reflection of the company, then y’all (potential customers) should take your business elsewhere. Very unprofessional. Florida Highway Patrol should be called next time because it will happen again.
