When my husband and I decided to overhaul the kitchen in his 90 yr old family home I visited all the kitchen showrooms in WC and surrounding areas. On the first visit to Distinctive Cabinetry we met Craig and it was the beginning of a perfect partnership! I know Craig was busy with other clients designs but he was always responsive and full of great ideas. Months after ordering our cabinets we learned we needed to hire a new contractor and I immediately contacted Craig who came to our rescue putting us in touch with one of their trusted contractors. We truly had the perfect team in place to make our dream a reality. At the start of this project we never fully realized the myriad of decisions that come with a kitchen remodel and the transformation didn't happen overnite but nothing worth doing is easy or quick. Fast forward to today, we are blown away by our kitchen! It turned out more beautiful than we could have ever imagined and we spend as much time as possible in our gorgeous new space! One of our favorite kitchen features happens to be our coffee bar. This design element was never on our radar but Craig incorporated it into his initial design and we instantly knew we had to have it.

Any home remodel is a huge investment in time and money so at the end of it you want to LOVE every little detail of your new space. In order to get your desired result you need a great team that can turn your vision into reality. I love that even though we thought we knew exactly what we wanted for our kitchen Craig incorporated details we never knew we wanted or needed. For the complete remodel of our kitchen, we decided to go with Distinctive Cabinetry for the purchase of our new Starmark kitchen cabinets and kitchen design work. Steve and his team, especially Sherry, did such great work helping to remodel our kitchen. Sherry was so patient with us. We asked tons of questions. Probably more than most people. But Sherry was always cheerful and had no problem with hand holding us throughout the entire process. I can be very particular, and I wanted to make sure that the cabinet selections and design work was done right.

The kitchen design/remodel turned out gorgeous. Every time I walk into my new kitchen, I am so pleased that the kitchen came out the way it did. The kitchen design/remodel far exceeded my expectations. In addition, Sherry was extremely helpful with our selection of inset cabinets and materials. I've lived in the east bay area for much of my life, and when I finally bought my first home in San Ramon, I scheduled a consultation with Distinctive Cabinetry for a kitchen remodel because of their experience with European Custom cabinets. I've always liked this look, and I figured that with their modern & traditional cabinet options as well, we could work together to design both a functional & unique kitchen for my home.

My expectations were exceeded throughout the entire process. Steve & his team were professional, thorough, and served our needs with great customer service.
