No-regrets clean safe source of 9% of California's electricity. But where's the water supply? California pretends it is short of water, but the Pacific's water level is not going down.
This plant is incomplete. The design was to have one reactor dedicated to making ALL THE WATER Southern California needs. Cheap, and pollution free.

Thankfully CA still has 2 operating nuclear power plants. Every time the state killed a nuclear power plant plan, a gas/coal plant was built instead. If all those nuclear power plants had been built instead, CA would have almost 100% carbon free energy.

We need more clean energy facilities like this.

No pollution, no power, no problem the power bill is still ridiculous. Sorry for complaining if I'd spent more time in college helping I'd probably have even more complaints just with experience! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Cool plant to look at and all, seems like a good handle on things, just wish it was decommissioned sooner or more infrastructure was added to the cliff side to prevent damage from a tsunami if one was to ever hit. Power plants are clean energy and produce countless amount but if we can learn from Japan, when the tsunami hit it scattered the radioactive waste and polluted the surrounding area costing billions. God forbid anything like this happen, but good to be extra prepared and consider.

Other reviews promised that I'd gain a couple of extra fingers on my visit to Diablo Canyon, but unfortunately, all I found was a safe and carbon-free energy source that provides power to three million Californians. Upset that they didn't let me swim in the pools either.

Right on a fault but easy to fix. Please move the backup generators so that a small tsunami cannot take them out like Fukushima.
