I found Rachel with high reviews on an Anthem page. We have just adopted a 1 year old Mastiff. We have rescued dogs in the past but never a giant puppy. The reality is Maximus is a great boy and Rachel gave me the confidence to lead him. This is an ongoing process that she gave me the tools and understanding to keep moving forward. Rachel has been wonderful from start to finish of the training process. I was unable to walk my Mastiff on my own, he was a bit of a handful and so sent him to her 3 week program. Since returning we have gone on two successful walks with no issues. He seems calmer and we continue to work on the skills. Can’t thank Rachel enough.

Raechel is so informed and gave the perfect information when I made the adjustment from one dog to two dogs in my house! My puppy came in completely obedient with a great foundation of skills to build on! Raechel responses quickly to all messages I sent her in regards to my puppy and I’m just so glad to have the support! And my dogs are best of friends!

Raechel is amazing, she truly loves dogs and understands their behavior, she was able to pinpoint what our problem was and gave me exact instructions on how to start turning the behavior around. She was able to help me understand what I was doing wrong to cause the behavior, without ever actually saying that I was the one causing it, she was so gentle and understanding of how we got to where we were....she trained me, so I can train our pup properly, I'm so grateful!! I definitely recommend Desert Winds Dog Training!!

Raechel is an excellent trainer that really understand each dog's unique personality. She is the only person in the Phoenix area we trust to watch our dogs when we travel, and she is always incredibly accommodating. When our dog Mika went there for training for 3 weeks, she even brought our other dog to stay with her for the last stint to reintroduce them, free of charge. We would recommend Raechel to anyone looking for a trainer in the Phoenix area!

Raechel is great!! I have a Jack Russell Terrier that constantly barked and was afraid to walk on a leash. I did the board and train with Raechel. After being there for 3 weeks my dog does not bark nearly as much and now is confident to walk on a leash. Raechel has given me many tools to use to continue my dog's training now that she is home. I highly recommend and will definitely send my future dogs to Raechel for training.
