We have been using Dehart for many years the alarm service has been consistently great. We had to redo a ton of cameras & sensors after a remodel recently. Matt came out and did everything better than anyone else we have had dealing with alarm system. He explained all the cameras, showed us different angles, taught us about the new touch monitors, etc. It was a large job and Matt stayed late until the evening until it was complete. He is the type of employee that any company is lucky to have. Great monitoring and staff at Dehart!

We've been with Dehart for 14 years. In the beginning they were a very good company, but over the years they've descended into total incompetence and horrendous customer service. We're looking for a different alarm company.

Used to be a good company. Had them for 14 years. They are absolutely incompetent now. I tried to make a service appointment to replace back up battery 10 days prior to Thanksgiving and none available. Whole system locked up shortly after I got back. Tried to get them in because I had no monitoring well before Christmas and they were 2 weeks out. Had to leave. Tried to make appointment first week of January and they gave me the 15th. I complained and she said they would work me in earlier. (I still have no monitoring.)
Called around the 10th to check status and they told me my appointment was on the 17th, not the 15th and further that I did not speak with a woman. I had an appointment today on the 17th from 12-2 pm. It’s 6:20 pm on the 17th and I have called 4 times they assured me he will get there and the office is now closed.
This is totally ridiculous.

Customer service has gone downhill. Been with them for over 20 years. After hours guy is rude and not very knowledgeable and totally unhelpful. May just do my own monitoring system with Simplysafe......dont need to be treated this way.

Have these guys at my store and my warehouse location.... Sensors at the warehouse were faulty... Finally got fixed after a few tries.... )-:
Store back door sensor just went off AGAIN as I'm laying in bed @ 10:30 at night !! Time for another 25 minute drive each way !!

I changed the review from 5 stars. I have been a customer for more than 10 years, and they used to provide excellent customer service and were local.

Now, they don't return phone calls or emails, or messages on the app. Took over a week to talk to someone. They said I needed a software update and told me to call back in the afternoon after it was installed. Still experiencing issues, and they won't return calls.

They lost their local advantage and racing to the bottom with national companies, which couldn't be this bad. Too bad. They must have been sold.

Dehart has been our alarm provider for almost 12 years and we’ve always been pleased! Just a few days ago we needed our keypad, window sensors and motion detectors serviced and they sent their technician Robert to our home. Robert was extremely professional, thorough and a pleasure to speak with. I felt much better knowing that he took care of all the maintenance and then took time to explain what he did. I would strongly recommend Dehart and have to my neighbors and friends.

For eleven years, I have been a happy customer of DEHART Alarm Systems. One couldn’t ask for better service. Recently, I had all new batteries installed; Bruce was prompt, courteous, and a pleasure to deal with. Later, I received a call from Chris to make sure I was satisfied with the work. I love supporting small businesses and this one is a gem!
