A very beautiful secluded place with almost everything to make it a perfect vacation spot. The only complaint I have is there is not a boat ramp on the West end of the island. I was able to put in at a new ramp on the Mississippi Sound side of the island but had to drive my boat 6 miles to my rented bayside house.

We visited here with the family. Very nice beach. It was secluded, not crowded especially for a holiday weekend and dog friendly. Parking wasn’t expensive. Definitely will return.

Beautiful place . Great weekend getaway. There is a gas station when you enter the island and also a restaurant. Turning left brings you to the historic site. There is a entrance fee. Nice place to go fishing too. Turning right brings you to plenty of vacation homes and beachfront. Stay and watch the sunset

Wonderful stay at Dauphin Island, Alabama. Quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. Fishing, biking, and laying on the beach on our top list of things to do. Easy drive down from Mobile to the bridge across the bay and into town. Or you can take the ferry from Fort Morgan. Realize there may not be as much to do as there is in Gulf Shores/Fort Morgan. Go here for quiet and to relax.

Enjoyed the beach, but lacked umbrella rentals... had decent bathrooms, showers and 10. Per car, nice... not crowded at all.

My most favorite place in the world to go. Never going to Florida anymore this is my new peace. Beach is so clean and not a lot of people so it's the most peaceful place to be ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I love love LOVE dauphin island, it's so quiet and peaceful and by far me and my family's favorite vacation spot, there was only once we had a bad experience and it was still an amazing trip.
