After doing lots of research on smoker builders, I finally decided to have Michael Davis and his crew build a custom designed smoker for my catering and vending business. Ordered my smoker 2/1/18 and was given a date of delivery the first week of June 2018. Mike stayed in contact weekly basis and provided up to date pictures during the build. I was and still am impressed with the overall quality and performance of their work. I use my unit daily basically from June til the snow flies here in Michigan, and even a couple times in subzero temperatures. Excellent job and follow up with Custom Metal Products LLC!!!

I hired Mike and his crew to build a custom smoker and fish cooker 3 years ago. Their craftsmanship and customer service are excellent! I run one of my cookers almost every weekend, and they perform flawlessly! I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a custom build!

Michael Davis and his crew build awesome, AFFORDABLE smokers. My buddy and I have cooked thousands of pounds of meat in the 2 years since we've owned our CMP smoker. I’ve bought 2 different smokers from them. Their trailer smokers are built like a tank and very affordable with many options to choose from. They also make backyard smokers that are built with the same quality and attention to detail as their bigger projects!! Recommend to anyone looking to get into competition cooking or just the everyday guy who loves to cook at home!!

Mike and his crew not only built my smoker but took the time to allow me to ad a few custom details not listed in his bid and price, than on the day of pick up came to his shop on a Saturday 2 hours early just to meet us after we got into Arkansas early. I can't say enough about the craftsmanship of my trailer.

Poor Craftsmanship. Bad welds. Bad paint job. Bad customer service. Owner Mike blocked me from leaving a review on his Facebook Page. His 1 year warranty is BS. He took my trailer back to fix orginal problems. Get trailer back. Roof damaged. They put a hole in it. Replaced brand new sink with rusty old one. Refuses to fix the on going issues. His response to me in a txt message was if I'm not happy to sell it. What business owner tells a customer that. Brand new smoker and it looks 4 years old. I can go on and on.
