I bought a new stool but it was too tall. I bought the base to Curtis Welding to have them remove 3" from the base. They repositioned the foot bars and reduced the base by 3". They even painted it for me. I am so happy with their work. I recommend them if you need a welding project. They are very honest and timely.

Curtis is the best welder I've ever seen and has the greatest customer service you can ask for. I go to him all the time and this last time blew me away. He did what I thought would be nearly impossible welding a cast aluminum manifold to absolute perfection.

Curtis is insanely talented at his craft and his integrity and honesty are just as amazing!! I came in with an aluminum boat from the 70s, super difficult to weld with, but he was able to get some leaks sealed up and some broken manufacturer welds back in shape! For the work I asked for, he went above and beyond and delivered! He is very busy and now I understand why. I'll keep coming back here for the rest of my life!

I have used Curtis Welding for over 15 years and has never been disappointed. Gary does terrific work and is a real gentleman. He is very reasonable and can do any type of welding work that you can think off. It is a family business performed by his father then passed to him. I could not recommend it more.

I have a bar stool that served me for 30 years. Lately the base broke off. I took it to Curtis Welding based on the reviews here. They did super job. It well worth the 40 miles trip one way for me. I will get another 30 year service out of this solidly strengthened bar stool.

Gary is the man. My buddy and I were riding down from SLO and the welds broke loose on my sissy bar. I gave him a call and he told me to bring it by. We showed up and in ten minutes he had me back on the road. Super helpful, very knowledgable and an all-around great dude. Not only that, but his shop is friggin' awesome. Wish I could have spent the day there! I definitely owe him a beer next time. Oh, and his welds are beautiful. Very obvious he's been doing this his whole life. If you need any fab or welding work, Gary from Curtis Welding is your guy!
