Worst service on the mountain by Mrs. Judith, she is rude, disrespectful and a liar. Paid my bill, bank shows it went through but yet my waters going to get turned off because “she can’t find it”, it’s my job to figure out where my money went in their bank account?!? Horrible attitude and refused to let me speak to the manager, so I can figure this problem out with someone who has competence… nope. Rejected, told me my water will be turned off even though they have my money, are charging me a $35 fee for a returned amount that wasn’t returned and another $15 for processing? This woman is a damn joke and if she really is the manager, she should be demoted or reprimanded. Demanding more money from me or they will turn my water off when I’ve already paid my bill! Disgusting behavior and just a way to get more money out of people. Sickening behavior Judith, absolutely despicable.

Edited:
Apparently the water district was having problems with a new bill payment system, which caused them to return my payment along with others. When my phone call finally went through, both Tiffany and Judith were apologetic and pleasant. They figured out the problem and were very helpful in explaining how to fix it.

I was paying $10 a month for water living on the south side of Crestline through Crestline-Lake Arrowhead Water Agency. Then we moved a couple miles north to the opposite side of Crestline (small town) and suddenly I was in the grasp of Crestline Village Water District who charges $26-$30 a month for the same amount of water. They are also the only utility company I deal with that doesn't have a paperless payment option or a web site I can make payments through.
However, we used to get a ton of lime scale buildup with the previous water company and here, even the hot water heater pipe that's who knows how old seems to have virtually no buildup on it. So maybe CVWD filters the water or gets it from a different source? Or has better pipes? Either way, I'll give them points for that.

Never had a big problem with them. Just inconvenient that they don't have an online method for paying. I think, also, that they take advantage of the fact that people don't have an option and they charge ridiculous prices. Lucky us.
