Cove Church feels like my second home!
I came to the church as a lukewarm believer, and somewhere in between, I stopped going... then in a depression, I ended up totally losing my faith in the Christian religion. Thankfully so, because with that deep depression and loss of religion, I fell in love with Jesus and consider myself to be in a relationship with Him now.
Cove feels like family to me. As a single mama, I feel the love and feel like I have a community helping me raise her! We feel like everyone knows us on a first-name basis.

There are so many fun activities for kids of all ages. The kids curriculum is so impressive and well-planned.

Cove Students always has something going on to keep high schoolers engaged and connected.

There are SO MANY opportunities to get connected with others with C-groups. There are also multiple ways to volunteer and serve in the church or outside of the church. This is where I’ve met my closest friends and met some of the most genuine people of my lifetime.

The Sunday sermons are heartfelt and mindfully planned around a theme each month. For instance, this past month was called “Rock Bottom” and was about addiction.
Yet, I have never felt condemned at Cove. I have felt grace extended to me. Biblical references are never taken out of context to push an agenda. Rather, the context of each book referenced is explained so that we are able to allow the Spirit to speak to us Himself. Our pastors definitely seem to put the most emphasis on encouraging each person to seek their own personal relationship with the Lord instead of following a set of instructions imposed by the pastoral staff.

Everything is so well-coordinated, but not so much that there’s not room for the Spirit to lead... because that’s exactly what I feel every time I’m in the building. The Holy Spirit is all up in Cove Church!!! 😬💕

This is the best church you'll find. This church always goes the extra mile to provide a great experience to all that attend, and does a job like no other in connecting you to God. If you have children, this place is also perfect for them. The church has trained volunteers for all age groups from infants to high schoolers, and even offers outside of church programs for all age groups and provides plenty of opportunities to grow spiritually. Also, I should include that the pastors, John Tanner and Allen Wilson, are always great. If you are looking for a church, stop looking once you find this one.

Beautiful worship center and welcoming volunteers and lobby with coffee and donuts every week. Very engaging and relevant sermons that follow a series type structure that make them very relatable and easy to apply during the week. Huge selection of small groups to join. This is community who lives and breathes what it means to live like Jesus and reaches out a hand to those in need whether they know them personally or not.

Great church! Pastor Tanner's sermons are thoughtful and reverent, he has so much devotion but he also carefully examines the scripture he treasures with a great scientific temperament and modern sympathy and a lot of honesty about his personal failings...i wish more pastors could be like this.
