Incredible service! I had been looking for a place that could fix jump hoops on my favorite stainless steel bracelets. I had previously been quoted $250 for this simple fix in San Francisco. Mike fixed mine for $5 in less than 5 minutes, all with a smile. Will go out of my way to come back!

I just had a very wonderful experience here. My ring needed cleaning and part of it had gotten bent and needed realignment. They did everything I needed quickly and free of charge! I will definitely be coming back here for future jewelry needs and everyone in the nearby area should as well. I'm so happy to see my ring sparkling in the sunlight again.

I purchased two watch batteries which were installed on the spot. Quick and reasonable. BUT.....while I was there I took a gander about and their inventory is spectacular. Glorious estate pieces and many modern unusual pieces. I will be returning for Holiday & special gifts, and so should you. Thank you, Cotati Jewelers.

I love this local jewelry store and the personal service. I really appreciate not getting the bs sales pitch I get anywhere else. They have a beautiful selection of items at all levels of affordability. The prices are great and repairs are beautifully done. It's a family owned friendly place. I have purchased a number of both new and heritage pieces and had my mother's jewelry repaired. They have a laser welder for necklace repair and have the easiest watch battery replacement in the county.

I also have gone to Cotati Jewelers for 20 years. I don't buy anything big, but go there for repairs, sizing, etc. Patti & Mike are the BEST. They are kind, caring, friendly, and honest. I trust them completely. They both have my vote of appreciation & confidence.

What prompted me to write this review at this time is this:
On our neighborhood Nextdoor forum....a thread was started on March 15th with this post:
"This past Wednesday my lady stopped in at the neighborhood jewelry store next to Oliver's to buy jewelry cleaner. The lady at the store said they were out of it. When she heard that my lady has a sonic jewelry cleaner she said she would give her some sonic cleaner from her own supply. She produced a cup with about 4 oz of cleaner which is mixed 40 to 1 with water. It should last a very long time. We were both impressed with this neighborly gesture and will be returning to patronize the store in the future."
This thread is STILL active...with over 41 comments, ALL with stellar reviews and personal anecdotes about people's own experiences in their interactions with Patty & Mike at Cotati Jewelers.

P.S. I absolutely refuse to believe anyone who says that they were treated rudely by either Mike or Patty. That is simply not their character.
I would be more suspect of the person making the accusation...because sometimes it's our own rudeness that elicits a response from otherwise kind people... that is out of character.

I got a pair of really cute pearl earrings with 3 baby diamonds on the side and for a great price. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend coming here. I'll for sure be back!

Granted, this was not a jewelry purchase, but I think itʻs valid. I brought in scrap gold to get their offer to buy. The man who greeted me was very nice, but he took the gold into the back room to weigh, which made me nervous. I managed to find a vantage point. He didnʻt allow for the fact that besides the 14 kt. gold there were 18 kt. and 24 kt., which makes a big difference. He walked away and a woman came out. She quoted me a price and when I hesitated she told me in a very nasty attitude that if I left the shop I couldnʻt come back. She cited the time it took to weigh (less than five minutes). She also told me that she paid 20% more than other local jewelers for scrap (out of the kindness of her heart? Are you kidding?). I went to two other jewelers who treated me with respect and I sold the scrap gold for a very good price elsewhere.
