I recently bought a knife from Chris at CJKnives and I cannot recommend him or his knives enough. I have collected knives my whole and have been making knives for 5 years. The fit and finish on my knife and sheath are beautiful. Chris kept me updated during the build of the knife. The antler scales are very comfortable and finished with great detail. I asked Chris if he would make a pair of matching knives from an elk antler that I harvested over 40 years ago. I recently received the knives and could not be happier with the results! Not only did I receive a hunting knife, but also a piece of art, a way to honor a harvested animal, and a family legacy as they will passed down through my family over the generations. His craftsmanship, communication, and pictures during the build, make the whole process enjoyable. Though the wait is long, he’s popular!, it’s well worth the wait and I’m already thinking of what he can make for me in the near future. Maybe a chef’s knife?
