The city of Dana Point kindly offered free shuttle service during July 4, 2021 from Dana Point High School to the Harbor for the fireworks display. According to some of their websites, the shuttle service would run until 11:30 pm or so. Somewhere along the way, they decided not to have shuttle service after 8:30 pm. The fireworks display started at 9:00 pm. There were many folks waiting at the shuttle stop. We couldn't get an Uber. We asked one of the Sheriff's deputies, and she informed us of the 8:30 pm closure. Well done Dana Point! Well done! We finally got an Uber, and we paid ~$30 to get back to the high school late at night. I think the city of Dana Point owes many people $30/car parked at the high school.
