This is a cute and quaint city tucked away in the California hills. I enjoyed a nice stay at a VRBO and was surprised at all of the charm and activities this city provides. It was a great location to visit Paso Robles, Morrow Bay and more. The drives are gorgeous and even stop off at some of Californias Missions.

More like a homeless refugee camp than a family friendly town. Needles all over the place in sunken gardens. When I first came here ( a little over 2 years ago) it wasn't this bad, even though it was still pretty bad then. Something needs to be done. To everyone reading this, proceed with caution when wandering around Atasacadero.

The city of Atascadero hosts many great community activities like movie night in the parks in the summer and the winter festival in December. There's always something happening in A town.

I was not expecting to find this here. It tower over everything else and is a beautiful dedication to the neo-classical architecture movement. If you are a fan of architecture I highly recommend a visit.
