We got a wonderful table and the really terrific server. Everything was perfect! Started with the Greek salad with the delicious popover dinner rolls. My husband enjoyed the Grouper Piccata which was a huge portion excellently prepared. I had the Southern Fried Catfish. It had a very light crispy cornbread batter and was seasoned just right. The portion size was very generous for both our meals. Dennis was the best server: friendly, bright and helpful.

All I can say is WOW!! Food was super delicious, fast and friendly service and the atmosphere was top notch!! We started with the Seared Ahi Tuna and I was in Heaven! Super fresh and just melts in your mouth. Hubby had the Stuffed Grouper with Cream of Mushroom Soup and Veggies. He said it was out of this world. I had the Charbroiled Jumbo Shrimp with New Potatoes and tried so hard to finish it but couldn’t. Shrimp was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. Here on Vacation and now know why this place is ranked highly. We’ll be back next time we’re in Panama City!😀

Had a great meal, started with the sautéed crab fingers and gulf shrimp, they were great. For our entrees we had the colossal scallops and the chargrilled grouper with crab imperial, both were out of this world delicious. Desserts are all made in house and very good.

Our server Jamison was fantastic, he was very attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience.

We had a great meal and experience and definitely recommend Captain Andersons
We will definitely return when we are back in the area.

We’ve ate at Captain Andersons every time we come to PCB and it is always so good. My favorite is the grouper or scamp imperial and the Greek salad! This visit we ate there twice. On 10/15 we had Karim as our server and he was amazing, very personable. Then tonight 10/18 we had Lolita who was also great and super sweet. The service is always great but I got to say Karim was by far our favorite server.

My dad recommended Captain Anderson’s and it did not disappoint!! Arrived at the restaurant around 4:15. There were about 10 people in front of me, they open at 4:30. Once opened we were seated promptly. Emilea was our waitress and she was superb, she went above and beyond! Answered all our questions patiently. Every dish we ordered was divine! I had the seafood platter with lobster. Lentil soup, hush puppies. My friend ordered stuffed shrimp. So much food! I can not recommend this place enough! 10/10

My wife and i had our early valentines dinner here this past Saturday night and it was amazing. Had not been here in probably 15 years and we will definitely be back more this year. The Grilled Shrimp and Grouper were excellent.

We went here twice on our vacation because it was so good and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend the stuffed grouper! The meals comes with rolls and hush puppies. They also have an amazing selection of homemade desserts. We got the chocolate almond mousse and the chocolate brownie pecan cake. 🤤

My new wife and I thought we would spend a romantic evening at Capt Anderson’s after Exchanging our vows in Panama City Beach. We checked in and asked for a Dock side table at the window. Was told it would be a 30+ min wait time for the table, which was fine. Once or number was called not only were we placed at another table nowhere near the window and we could barely see the dock. After being seated we were told they were out of Flounder, Red Snapper and Scamp fish. People this was at 5:00pm they just opened for the day . We should have left then but we didn’t. We had the crab stuffed shrimp. This was absolutely the wrong choice ! The shrimp were over cooked until it was like rubber. The crab stuffing was the consistency of a silky cornbread dressing with to much sage with no crab to be found ! Needless to say it was pushed to the side.. Captain Anderson has lost all respect in my opinion. On the plus side, the She Crab Soup, the Parmesan Baked Oysters and the New potatoes were excellent. The House cake they gave us for our wedding bite was to be desired. It was most different. Good bye Capt. Anderson’s, you are most different than what you use to be. So many favorites are not on the menu anymore also. The best I can do is a 1 star restaurant in my opinion.
