The “Vintage wine company” has many connotations, and Bushong has both that cool old school vibe with it’s turntable and (original) Star Wars pin ball table to start off the visit that relaxes and let’s you sit back and be ready to enjoy the wine.

I have tasted Bushong wines at a few of the local Garagiste festivals and excited to take time to focus and enjoy the selections at the tasting room in Paso Robes.

The tasting room is comfortably outside of the main square with easy parking and a storefront that is not easy to miss. One of the things I really enjoyed is the unique decorations and vintage feel.

This would it be a big deal if the wines did not share their delicious secrets and stories as only wine can do. Taking time to really taste and enjoy the wines you can taste Jason Bushong’s approach to the Paso wine experience.

I enjoyed the two versions of the tenant and the tenant blends. Also really was surprised by the nice desert wine.

This is a nice tasting experience and along with the wines, atmosphere, and nice wines you will not be sorry you took the time to visit Bushong Vintage Wine Company.

Big wines with a lot going on. Two flight choices. Friendly staff and a comfortable setting. Many of the wines are poured with a Coravin and need some time to open up. If you rush through, your going to miss out. I think the wines would show better if they opened them and let them breathe. I also think they should make the wine prices a bit more visible.

One of my favorite wineries and tasting rooms. It is always lively (although, less so at the moment as they are being very diligent about ensuring a safe experience for their guests during COVID and limiting the number of people who can do a tasting). The team is always fun and welcoming. I love practically all their wines and am a member of their wine club.

My husband and I just love any time we can spend with Jason and Lindsey at Bushong Vintage Company. We're from the Central Valley but we not only enjoy the Paso area but the beautiful wines we purchase from Bushong. Our daughter recently got married and we were lucky enough to be in charge of buying the wine for the reception. We served "Institutionalized" ( love the name), Cold Roses, a lovely Gewürztraminer,) and Faire La Fête, the perfect sparkling wine. Our guests loved them. Since we are members we were also able to enjoy Jason's beautiful 1 bedroom rental home. It is near his own home right in the heart of Paso Robles with an easy walk to the tasting room and downtown. His rental was the perfect cozy, private, quiet, and beautifully appointed hideaway for the wedding weekend. Jason went out of his way to make sure we were happy and comfortable during our stay. We are looking forward to our next visit there.

My husband and I had a wonderful wine tasting experience at Bushong. The tasting was very educational and we learned a lot about Tannat which was a new varietal to us. The wines were all delicious, but we specifically loved "Tannat", "Power, corruption and lies", "Sleep angels", "Institutionalized", "Unknown Pleasures" and "Same deep water as you". Jason Bushong is a gem winemaker that can rival any of the top in Paso.

Love, Love, Love Bushong! The wines are fantastic. My favorites are Tannat, Unknown Pleasures, and Ananda. And you can't forget Sweet Illusion... They also have the BEST customer service in all of Paso. This is a must for a visit.
