This spot is incredible! The atmosphere is laid-back yet stylish, and the design of the place is really impressive. We stopped here for lunch on our way back from Reno through Tahoe, and it did not disappoint. The food and beer were both excellent, and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. The manager even took the time to suggest a few unique drinks for us to try, which was such a nice touch. We’re definitely planning to return. The expresso martini is my new favorite here! So good!!!

My husband has always been a Burning Barrel fan for their beer and I’m ecstatic they now serve cocktails. I was pleasantly surprised that the cocktails exceeded my expectations (you have to try their gin if you’re a gin fan). I love that this is a place that beer drinkers, cocktail lovers, and friends looking for a meal can enjoy. Even though this is 30 min from me in Rancho, I’ll pressure my husband go to this location!

Recently went to Burning Barrel Brewery in Placerville. The Interior has a very cool vibe. Comfortable seating. The staff was very knowledgeable, warm & welcoming. We tried a flight of all different kinds of beers. There are many different unique beers on draft which made the tasting experience fun. Out of all 6 beers that we tasted, My favorite was a great Hazy IPA I believe it was called juice Bloom. The Food is nothing to write home about. If they spent the time and attention that they put in the beers, sauces, "panini pressing the top of the bun". In actual good quality ingredients. I think they'd have a 5 star place.

If you love the Burning Barrel in Rancho Cordova you'll love this location even more. They have the same great beer (including sours), with the addition of delicious food. No dogs allowed unfortunately.

My favorite place to grab drinks!!! I love getting the flights so you can try a variety of their beer offerings. You get x6, 5 ounce pours for $20-$25. They have such fun flavors for sour beer. Their cocktails are delicious too! 2 things to note are that the parking lot fills up quickly and it gets loud in the evenings due to being busy, but don’t let this stop you from going. Burning barrel is the best! I am excited that they now have this Placerville location, as I have been a long time customer at their Rancho Cordova spot.

First time here. We have been to the one in Rancho and I preferred this location. We only ordered fries but they were really good. We ordered beer flights and the beers were pretty good. I liked the “dunk” which was similar to an amber. The atmosphere was good and I liked the aesthetic. Would highly recommend but parking in a the worst part!!

It seems the alcohol comes first and in order to sell alcohol the food is an after thought with a fryer and a panini press using Sysco prepared ingredients in weird combinations to keep it hip and jack the price of a basic salad or Sando to $20 coupled with a cocktail that tasted like Jamba wheatgrass topped with sesame oil foam. No Prosecco. Canned salad ingredients with limited modifications. Tasty fries and ranch. As I looked around, most folks had half eaten food (except the wings) as they yelled to maintain the engagement inside the racquetball court like dining hall. To validate our experience since management/ownership likes to argue and dismiss other negative reviews, a pic of the $20 salad when all we wanted was a side salad with chicken and were told the system couldn’t accommodate the request and the expo wanted to charge for extra ranch to choke down the precooked chicken.
