i bought a 18+2 equipment hauler dual 5200 axles. Super crappy build quality. i picked it up and loved it about 2 months ago. As a welder these welds look like they were welded by someone who has never touched a welder before. the fender welds have all sheared the rear dovetail completely sheared off. Mind you i have never put anything over 6500lbs on this trailer so well within its capacity. I will not buy a trailer from them again i will be going forward with buying another STAG trailer. i am now out a trailer because the rear dovetail sheared off while loading a 4500 pound tractor on a trailer that can handle about 8500 pounds.

Horrible customer service. I bought a dump trailer that came leaking. They told me to get someone to repair it and they would send me the check due to how far i live. I paid to get it fixed and after calling so manny times they always said they were going to send it and never did until they started ignoring me.

First off I wanna start by saying simply do not waste your time with these trailers or people and especially Kinder Auto Sales. I recently bought an 83x24 bumper pull with a 3 foot fold down gate back in August, I own a lawn care company and pull 2 mowers and a push mower on the trailer. The idea of the trailer design is great but the structural quality of the trailer is awful, the first issue I had was the trailer lights will not stay connected to my truck they constantly connect and disconnect. I know it is the trailers issue as well because I have a Max D dump trailer and a PJ dump trailer and neither of them have issues staying connected. Second issues is within a month 2 of my center grease caps had simply fallen off not a big deal but annoying, it’s a brand new trailer. Almost every single weld holding the fenders on has busted, they won’t make it through the winter holding the extra weight of ice and mud I have an appointment to have them fixed. The rear gate is built like a 1995 Coca-Cola can, I slid brush off the back of the trailer (the brush came off very easily I own 3 trailers and do this weekly) needless to say the back end of my trailer is bent out just over an inch now, I’m sure the welds on it will be breaking soon now to. The trailer breaks turned all the way up won’t stop the trailer itself, let alone with a load. The lights all the way around the trailer will fall out of the holes going down the highway, it looks like they cut the holes with tin snips. My favorite issues is the deck boards, they no kidding could’ve fit another board in the trailer deck with how far apart they spaced the boards (I will take partial blame for not noticing that when buying the trailer) as for having the trailer warrantied, I have contacted both BR Trailers and Kinder Auto sales and both places tell me to call one another for warranty work, BR claims that Kinder will do the warranty work and Kinder claims I need to contact BR. The dude at Kinder says he won’t do anything until he knows that BR is gonna pay him his money for the work he does, I believe his name is Roy (his words exact, the guy is a rip, he hasn’t even seen the work needed to be done) it is obvious Kinder doesn’t need to sell trailers, and it is plain as day that BR won’t stand behind there product, it’s one thing to build a nice trailer and have a minor issue, but this trailer is falling apart, and it is far from a nice quality build, I guess it’s true, you get what you pay for. Tough lesson learned here.

Bought a 18’+5’ tilt trailer with 7,000 lb axles for $6,500 earlier this year. Right off the bat I thought the spare tire was going to vibrate off the trailer so I welded some angle iron in and spray painted them. That looked better than the factory finish. I noticed lots of areas where there was no paint, and many of the welds looked questionable.

I am an arborist by trade and I use this to haul a 9,500 lb lift daily. This weight is well under the limit. Recently, the C channel that the gas cylinder is mounted to completely snapped at the frame rail. I was without a trailer until I could fix it. I rewelded that joint much stronger and added gusseting to prevent the flex in that C channel from the cylinder.

Not a month later, the 1/4” plate that the gas cylinder is mounted to completely broke the weld and bent the plate. The plate stretched when it broke so I couldn’t even push it back to the original position. Now that I think about it, it wasn’t actually the weld that broke, the metal itself pulled apart. I laid down the uglies widest weld I could possibly muster to hold it in place.

I have called several times to get this repaired, no luck. I even called today and was told someone would call me back, nothing. I’m going to hopefully trade this in next spring and spend the extra money for a Sure-Trac which is a much higher quality trailer. This one can be used for light duty things probably, but don’t expect it to perform at a heavy duty level despite being rated for 14,000 lbs.

I am overly impressed with this company and there ability to cater to there customers. We greatly appreciate the time and effort they have given us. I am happy with there builds and happy with the people. Recommended.

And to the Brant Webber who commented before me, If you tried lifting 12k in the trailer, you clearly should not be selling them because you do not understand that in order to get the payload capacity of a trailer you take the weight rating of the trailer and subtract the weight of the trailer from that. That number is your potential payload. You were overloading the trailer and are apparently instructing the customers to do so as well.

For your money you can't get much better!! However there are some things I'd like to mention.

Paint is very poor. Several areas where there is no paint whatsoever.
Paint was completely peppered off on the tail light housings when I bought it.
Some welds are questionable but overall solid.

Biggest gripe I have is the winch mount plate isn't very well thought out. It being high up on the piece of C channel gives it a lot of leverage under load to bend. Which it does even winching small vehicles. --I had to weld 2 more supports on it to get it where I feel I can trust it completely. Suggestion for future production?

Overall though fantastic trailer for the money!!
