After doing many hours of research on the very competitive market of lithium batteries, I decided to purchase from Bolt Energy USA. I really liked the customer service they offered before the purchase, and I like that their headquarters is not too far from where I live.
I purchased the 51 volt 105 AH Pro Complete right from Bolt Energy USA at their location in Largo, Florida. Everything was packaged very well and the kit was complete.
I did the install myself on my 2015 Club Car Precedent. I took my time and I even had a couple of questions that were answered right away with a quick phone call. Once again, great customer service. So nice to get rid of the lead acid batteries!! See the before and after pics.

After researching other lithium battery companies Bolt Energy USA came out on top due to their high quality batteries, conversion kit and superior customer service. I completed a conversion on my 2021 Cushman 72v Hauler Pro with an electric tilt bed. The Hauler had 9 - 8 volt lead acid batteries weighing a total of 567 lbs. Using Bolt Energy’s 73.6v 105ah single stack battery weighing 137 lbs. The weight of the cart was reduced by 430 lbs. The conversion kit was drop shipped in a sturdy wooden box that protected all of the components. The conversion was straight forward using Bolt Energy’s mounting brackets, charger and the state of charge meter. Bolt Energy’s technical support (Brent co-owner) was able to advise me of a solution to resolve an issue with Cushman’s inter lock system. I also had to use a 72v to 48v step down converter to power the tilt bed. Through out the process I had multiple contacts with the Bolt Energy staff which were all professional, courteous and patient. It was a great experience dealing with a family owned American business that actually delivered on what they promised!

I shopped around for a long time looking for the most complete lithium battery kit with the best specs for my 2015 EZGO TXT. I ordered the Bolt Energy 51.2 volt 105 amp hour Thin professional battery kit. It came with absolutely everything needed to complete the installation. It comes with a waterproof charger and 30 amp voltage reducer. It also includes a new 400 amp solenoid and 40 inch 2 Guage cables. The charging power cable comes with a new port to replace the factory charge port. The included installation bracket bolted right in with the included bolts and made mounting the battery a breeze. I especially like the design of the State of Charge meter which shows a large % number in green that changes to yellow at 50% and red at 20% making it easy to know when to head home and charge. The kit also included a pure copper heavy duty outdoor rated extension to charge the battery. Who else does that? Nobody!! I am extremely happy with my purchase and the interactions I have had with everyone at Bolt Energy. If you're in the market for a lithium golf cart battery, Bolt Energy USA should be at the very top of your list.

The absolute best customer service!! Bought two batteries in the past 3 months. 160ah and the mini 105ah. Took slow up the hill DC club cars to flying up the hill at top speed! Thank you to the whole Bolt team for your amazing service!

I spent months researching which Li battery to buy for my 2022 Icon i40L while I burned through my second set of acid batteries. The Bolt 160/AH was the best choice I could have made. It's been in for a couple of months and is absolutely bulletproof. I can't say enough great things about the customer service from beginning to end, they drove the battery all the way to my front door in Key West! I installed it myself and the toughest part was taking out all the old batteries and cleaning up. Putting in the Bolt took about an hour and I was taking my time. Everything is different now. The acceleration and braking have improved enormously, range is off the charts, the wind and hills never slow me down, and I don't have to do a thing to maintain it. It was worth every penny, I feel like I got a whole new cart!

I have converted my I60l from agm’s to Bolt 72v.
A few months ago I went to the villages with my family of six, ages 9, 14 and 19 years old and we got 10 miles max both days before it stopped while camping there. Also going up the hills was very slow.
Today we decided to be brave and make the trip again for the day with bolt. We were able to do 27.6 miles for 2.3 hrs of driving an average speed of 24 mph unless in turns and hills and etc. I just got home and went to plug it in and had 11% left after full 100% this am.
Also I load this cart on the back of my 3500, before I used to need a running start and could not stop til I slammed on to the truck. Now I can creep, stop mid way and it will keep going even at the 11% today.
Really happy with my conversion. Plus the extra room is nice as well.
Thanks Bolt.

I have $3200 worth of lithium junk in my cart. Ready to go back to lead acid. These people need travel associates. Customer service was great but didnt get to the root of the problem. My dealer that works on my cart is to busy to receive any more work. Have a 15k cart thats ready for the junk yard! Their warranty specifically says no out of pocket cost for the first 5 years. Dont buy that or anything they are selling. So far its been left up to me for removal, ship back. I cant do it. Dont want to attempt to do it myself even if they paid for it. I do put part of the blame on my cart mech for not wanting me to bring my cart in because he is too busy. Yeah, he lost a well paying customer too. Get one of those new China Forward Facing seat carts. They are made with good parts and batteries.

A couple of weeks ago I helped a friend convert his 2017 Textron Prowler EV IS 4x4 to Bolt Energy USA 72v 105Ah Lithium-LifeP04 battery.
This was my first Golf Cart/Buggy I have worked on but I do have hobby related electrical and mechanics abilities.
I originally spoke with one of the owners Bobby who answered all of my technical and shipping questions. My friend ordered the battery the same day and it was at his door in Texas in about a week!
I first measured the voltage on the small wires connect to the old batteries and noted they were supplied 72v (I thought that was weird) so I called Bolt and talked with Bobby who patched me over to his partner Brent. Brent looked up the schematic for the Buggy and confirmed it had a voltage reducer built in and to wire directly to the battery (no need for the voltage converter). So I lengthened the negative wires (had yellow crimps and spare wire handy) to reach the battery posts.
I removed all the old batteries and replaced the positive cable (New one was supplied) at the controller located under the rear deck. Then I installed the supplied battery mounts. I had to drill new mounting holes into the battery box but no big deal. Then I changed out the solenoid (drilled new mounting holes into plastic) for the larger supplied one. Next I installed the battery and made the connections.
I turned the key on and the lights came on and tried to see if the buggy moved. Nope. Checked my connections, and they all looked good. I noticed the flashing yellow and red lights on the first controller and googled to find out the trouble codes. I didn't have luck finding the resolution, so I reached out to Brent, who quickly looked them up for me and asked me to remove the Diode and resistor from the solenoid. Boom, that was it!
I installed the onboard charger and plug behind the drivers feet and done.
Got back from the test ride and it was so fast I'm glad this buggy has seat belts! I was watching on the bluetooth app, we hit just over 300a on a slight uphill straight.
The quick and knowledgeable help from Bobby and Brent along with the very complete conversion kit made this a very easy and fun task. No I didn't get paid in any any way for this post, just hoping to help others out. 🙂
