What after care service. Willing to sell to the intl market but no warranty. Just proved the controller failed without the boat even touching the water
Bought a new controller which is an upgraded version . This means previous unit is a bad design
Waiting 10 days to here from Bennett not a word

Absolute worst customer service ever. We purchased the Bennett Trim Tab Auto Trim Pro, completed all of the wiring and tested the controller it did not work. We called Bennett and they walked us through all of the troubleshooting steps and it still did not work so they told us to send it back to them and they would replace the unit. That was July 10th, 2023. Today is August 21st and we still do not have a replacement nor can anyone at this company tell us when they are going to send the unit out. It is basically the end of boating season in this part of the country. What good is it to purchase a $600.00 product if it is not here to be installed. Let’s take a guess on what their warrantee period will dwindle down to after this. It is a shame that Bennet Marine/Yamaha has taken such a nose dive. They used to have good customer service. Never again will I purchase a Bennett product. I don’t care what their internal communication issues are. Don’t care which location has the item or what inventory line it is coming from. I just want a working product returned to me.

There isn’t a lot to say about Bennett trim tabs: they set the industry standard for a great product. What’s really outstanding is their customer service! When I’ve had an issue they patiently walk me through the diagnostic process and guide me through what I need to do. My Action Craft came with Bennett tabs 17 years ago and I’ve had a problem recently with the port tab. After sorting through the process it’s clear that I need a new switch. That’ll be an easy fix-by-owner. Thanks to MJ Thomas at Bennett for all their help!

Unresponsive to emails about technical failure. They simply ignored requests for tech support of brand new trim tab system installed on a brand new motor boat. Some famous yacht brands seem to have severed relations with them also. I know of many who are refitting their Bennett trim tabs systems with competing brands.

I bought a sensor kit for the trim tab actuators on my 2003 SeaRay Sundancer 260. The sensors did not fit the actuators so I contacted Bennett for advice. They quickly diagnosed the problem and then fabricated a new set of actuators with sensors. Works beautifully!. MJ Thomas and Bennett provided outstanding customer service and their products are of excellent quality. Definitely a customer for life!

Unfortunately this company is pretty much the worst I’ve seen in the marine industry - overcharges for work, orders the wrong parts causing delays, leaves everything behind a mess when they knew we run charters and then doesn’t even complete a job entirely. They then proceed to threaten their customers to put a marine lien on, even after acknowledging there is a problem that occurred during their service that was not there before, thereby refusing to complete the job. Stay away from them, far away. You’ll be glad you did.

I contacted Bennett Marine concerning the proper trim tab setup for my particular application and was pleasantly surprised with the feedback received. They went above and beyond to make sure my trim tab setup was correct and even gave me some suggestions on mounting as I had limited vertical transom height. Highly recommend if you have questions to not hesitate to ask their tech support department.

I was having a tough time figuring out exactly what was wrong with my trim tab controls, pump worked, switches worked but the pump ran continuously . I sent a picture of the wiring to MJ Thomas at Bennitt and he (she) quickly identified the possible cause of the issue, gave me instructions on diagnostics and we found the issue to be a faulty "auto tab retractor" that I wasn't aware of.
