We recently had the opportunity to visit this establishment on a Saturday afternoon, where we were able to create our own candles! The process was easy—you first decide how big a candle you want (10.5oz. 12oz., or 22oz), pick from 75+ different fragrances (mix and match), pick a custom label, and then go through the candle-making process. Even better with a cocktail!

After picking out all the essentials, our host, Chris, took us through the process of setting our wicks, placing our labels, mixing our fragrances to the smell we desired, and then finishing it off by mixing our fragrances with soy wax and letting it set.

The thing we loved most about this place is that you always need candles, and every time you come back, it’s a different experience because you can create your own unique scents every time you visit. It’s a great place for parties and events, along with simply enjoying the time with friends, families, or even on a date.

What is really nice is as you wait the 2 hours for your candles to be ready there are plenty of places to eat, drink, and hang out in The Hub at Bexley.

My friends and I had such a fun time choosing scents and creating candles. The staff are so nice. It was a great experience!! Watching the color foat down from the top was really neat!! Not to mention the smell was amazing!! Well totally go again.

Overall bdc candles has a very welcoming atmosphere where you can feel comfortable and really have fun making your own candle or fragrance. Will be coming back both my candle and fragrance smelled so strong I'm definitely glad I came in !!!

My family came to have a fun weekend activity and this fit the bill! Kyra made the experience 5 Star! She was so friendly and informative. Candle making was so easy with a well thought out approach. We all ended up with completely different candles- different colors , scents, labels etc and ALL were fantastic! Can’t wait to fill the house with our candles!

BDC Candle Bar is such a fun experience for all ages! My sister and I took our mom for her birthday and we all had a great time! You get to pick up to 3 scents, your own candle label, lid color, and size. I cannot remember the gals name who helped us but she was amazing! She was very knowledgable and kind during each step of the process. We were in and out in less than an hour! Prices are a bit steep for this but you’re making and customizing the candle yourself and getting the memorable experience, so keep that in mind! They do have a small drink menu of wine and beer if you wanted to drink while making your candle as well. If you’re looking for an activity to do for date night, a birthday or just for fun, I think you’ll enjoy BDC Candle Bar!

Beautiful location easy to get to with free parking.
