Let me tell you about my experience with AVS. I was thrilled to find someone who made a bracket to use the GM drive by wire gas pedal in a 1971 Impala. I am doing an LS Swap for a customer. This would save me time and the customer money as opposed to me fabricating a bracket. A win. I received my bracket and it is a nice looking piece. Had instructions in the box, fasteners. A simple bolt-in installation. Nope! I attached the gas pedal assembly to the left side of the bracket (as stated in the instructions) and it does not allow the gas pedal to travel. At all. Moved it to the right side and it is way to far to the right. Called AVS to see if I'm missing something. They informed me that this was a known issue and that they have new ones being made. I simply just needed to notch/modify the bracket to work. They said I could send it back to them and they could do it but it would be quicker for me to do it. This certainly defeats the purpose of buying a supposedly bolt-in part. I asked if I could send it back and get one that is engineered properly. Was informed that that would take weeks. So I paid good money for a "bolt-in" bracket that needs to be modified in order to work. I shouldn't have wasted my money and just made the bracket myself.

I received excellent service from AVS. I have an older truck that had Surf Racks welded - not bolted but welded - to the back by the previous owner. Allen did an excellent job removing them, it looks perfect like they were never there! Easy to talk to fast service and reasonable price, and more than that I trust these guys with my vehicle!

Went here 2 years to have custom mufflers installed on my 335I, and it was a great experience. The muffler kit was anything but a direct fit, but Al, made bends to piping and fit it perfectly. Just went back and got test pipes installed on my E92 M3, and again AL, and the guys did a great job!! I highly recommend them.

I brought my 68 Charger to a local fabricator in Minnesota. The results were NOT GOOD! After a year, and a LOT of $$$ I couldn't take any more sub standard work.
I took the Charger to AVS Fabrication and have been VERY happy with the results! Al is very knowledgeable, highly skilled, and above all, honest in his billing. When he starts a job he finishes it, which was something the previous shop didn't do. I highly recommend bringing your project, no matter how big or small to AVS. You WON'T be disappointed.
