It was the perfect spot for my friends and I! We were able to spread out perfectly with no issues of privacy. We absolutely loved the pool and the walk to the beach was quick and nice. We had a great experience with our AvantStay rental in Key West. The apartment was well equipped and well located in a quiet area just a short walk from Mallory Square and the shops and restaurants of Duval Street. The salt water pool was a perfect way to end the day. We'd stay there again in an instant. AvantStay communicated clearly and check in and out were easy.

Great walkable location to Duval Street and local attractions. Pool is right outside the door, which was nice. Condo was clean and well supplied with towels and sheets as well all the kitchen amenities!

We stayed here for 7 nights as a family of four (with two adult children). The home is beautiful, well laid out with kitchen and living on the main floor and bedrooms upstairs. Be aware there are a lot of stairs for anyone with mobility issues. The pool is gorgeous and has very warm water. It provides a lot of shade. Our only enhancement we could recommend is to have a better couch and side chair for time to hang out. We will definitely look to return!

Great place and location with a couple of minor issues. We’ve stayed at the Lazy Gecko for three monthly stays over the past few years. The property is updated and stylish, with a practical layout. It’s also in a perfect location for what we enjoy about Key west… near the Bight, and walkable to anyplace in old town.

Our minor issues have been consistent for each our stays. While unit is nicely updated it’s in an old house. The age of the building is associated with maintenance and repair issues that can affect the stay. We’ve probably averaged about 3 days each month where noise or repairs led us to leave for the day. Avantstay has handled issues as well as possible but it’s an old building. The other issue is that the unit has a nice tv but no network broadcast service. There is basic streaming possible but if you like to catch up with current news or broadcast sports (Super Bowl) you’ll need to buy a service.

Overall the property is great. Just a couple of things to be aware of if they would affect you. Bottom line is we look forward to coming back.

We stayed at Casita de Catherine and loved it. It was a cute little cottage, clean and tidy. The kitchen, bathroom and bedroom had just what we needed (just me and my husband). It was within walking distance to everything yet seemed quiet and peaceful sitting on the back porch enjoying the hot tub. Would definitely stay again.

We went down for our honeymoon to key west and had an amazing time. The house was immaculate and they even had a nice note with some champagne to congratulate us on our marriage! The whole process of booking, checking in and checking back out was extremely easy and their app is very user friendly. I would 10/10 recommend both this location and a Avantstay to anyone looking to do an air bnb rental! Thank y’all again!
