I have been going here for 14 yrs and love the people here. They are loving and kind and accept you just as you are. Sometimes people are afraid to go to church and I was one of them. But going to this church changed my life and made me feel accepted. I have learned over the years that not every person is going to like every church. People have different reasons. Sometimes you have to consider the source. But personally I go to church to first worship my God, then it is about the people. We all need Gods love and here I found it.

I have a friend with the warmest heart ever, go to this church and he was treated with such disrespect that it was unbelievable, until ive gone there and seen it for myself. the congrigation at this so-called christian church would gossip about him and tell eachother not to talk to him. they even went as far as sitting away from him, leaving him in isolation. how can a person have fellowship when the church wants to keep you an outsider. and my aunt has had simular experiences at an assembly of god in ohio as well. theres something not right in these people and i highly suggest going to any other church in the high desert except this one.

When I first came here, it was after my wife died but I didn't need to study the scriptures or get to know the Almighty better, I was on the edge of giving up believing when I knew it was time to fellowship with my fellow believers. As it turns out because I have one crime on my record from long ago I told them about they separated me from the rest of the people by sitting all the way on the end with aisles between us even, in my own little section. I was never allowed to talk to anyone. Who does that? And it's not like i'm an ugly looking monster, i'm young and look like a model. Its not right to do that to someone who's cried to them about their loss. I'm a Nihilist now after much thinking. I realize that people are going to be people wherever they are, it's just human nature to fear what they don't understand.

The people here are amazing. And It's not just a church. They also offer food boxes to the local community. All you do is stand in line and they bring it to your car for you and load it.
